Approximately 800 meters to Lugnet's outdoor area with cross-country trails, bathhouses, bike paths and Dalarna University. 3-minute drive to the city center and grocery stores.

Below the house, there is a nice hiking trail by Dalälven. If you want to go to a cozy café, Gammelgården is a stone's throw from the house.

Vi har renoverat vårt gårdshus med kunskap om byggnadsvård, miljö och hållbarhet. Äggoljetemperans vackra kulörer pryder väggarna och äkta linoljefärg är en självklarhet i ett hus från sent 1800-tal. Fina kakelugnar värmer skönt och köket är stort och rymligt Vintertid finns fina förutsättningar för skidåkning för längd och utförsåkning vid Romme alpin. En c:a 8 km lång skridskobana plogas på vår sjö med anslutning c:a 100 meter från gården. Huset är beläget nära städerna Falun och Borlänge.

The house is surrounded by beautiful nature and the historic Rommehed. Bed linen, towels, soap & toilet paper included. Welcome to the historic area of Bergslagsbyn, centrally located in Borlänge. The house has an equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa bed and dining area, one bedroom and sauna for pleasant moments after a day outdoors. It is 2 km to both the dome and Borlänge city center. Romme alpine can be reached in 20 minutes. The accommodation works for up to four people when using the sofa bed. We as hosts live on the farm in the larger residential house and are close at hand if you need anything.

Ryllshyttebacken är en trevlig familjebacke 12 km bort.

Here you live in a cozy timber house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
