Perfect for couples, families or small groups who want to stay comfortably close to nature and the city. Please bring your own linen and towels or rent from us. Accommodation closer to the water is hard to find. Taking the boat or, in winter, going out to Holmen nearby to barbecue and watch the sunset is an extra bonus. Two paddleboards are available for hire, as well as an electric motor for the boat. In summer, cattle sometimes walk nearby, and you may then need to open and close fences to get to the cottage. The internet works well with mobile broadband. WINTER INFO: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family slope 12 km away.

Vi har renoverat vårt gårdshus med kunskap om byggnadsvård, miljö och hållbarhet. Äggoljetemperans vackra kulörer pryder väggarna och äkta linoljefärg är en självklarhet i ett hus från sent 1800-tal. Fina kakelugnar värmer skönt och köket är stort och rymligt Vintertid finns fina förutsättningar för skidåkning för längd och utförsåkning vid Romme alpin. En c:a 8 km lång skridskobana plogas på vår sjö med anslutning c:a 100 meter från gården. Huset är beläget nära städerna Falun och Borlänge.

Here you live in a cozy timber house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
