Just a few minutes' walk away is Vättern with its beautiful beach promenade and swimming facilities. Stroll among the delightful old houses and buildings, experience Vadstena Castle and the Monastery Church.

Enjoy a lakeside idyll just a stone's throw from Tiveden National Park! Stay in a cozy cottage right on the lake. Your own swimming area & a smaller sandy beach are right next door. Fishing opportunities & access to boat & canoes are available. Firewood for the fireplace from the farm's own forest is included. The cottage is located a stone's throw from the shore of Lake Vättern with Omberg as a backdrop and with the beautiful plain that spreads around Borghamn. We look forward to meeting 2025 with upcoming guests and please do not hesitate to look at the listing and contact me for any inquiries. This will be our 10th year as hosts of our cabin and we have met so many nice guests from near and far. Guests describe the area as beautiful and peaceful. Nearby, there is a stone industry that is in use.

Cottage, private beach, boat and sauna near Gränna

Idyllic cottage, 30 sq m, on a private beach, very clear lake water, close to the highway E4 and Gränna. Thirty minutes from Jönköping. One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, the use of a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

Relax in this cozy and quiet accommodation overlooking Omberg and Östgötaslätten. Live next to Café på Skedet, bakery & pub. Only 2 km away is Borghamn with, among other things, a country shop, Gyllenhammar's inn and a cozy harbor with nice swimming opportunities. Here you are close to Omberg, Ellen Key's beach, Alvastra Monastery Ruin, the bird lake Tåkern and Omberg Golf. 15 km north of Skedet is Vadstena, a small town with a lot of history, nice restaurants and nice little shops.

The Lakehouse (Nybyggt)

Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. Undisturbed house by the beach with its own dock & sauna

Welcome to Kärnebäcken. The house is undisturbed on a headland in Bottensjön, with both morning and evening sun. Here you can see the canal boats from Vättern on their way up the Göta Canal. Only two km of bike path into Sweden's reserve capital Karlsborg, with Ida's jetty and Karlsborg fortress as attractions. By car, it takes about 20 minutes to Tiveden National Park with hiking trails and fantastic nature. The house is 110 square meters and fully equipped. Good WiFi. An oasis!

The accommodation offers a unique experience of relaxation by the lakeside, featuring a private sauna, hot tub, and a tranquil relaxation area right by the water with its own jetty. Just a few steps from the sauna, you can take a refreshing dip in the clear lake and then unwind in the warm jacuzzi. Simsjön is a scenic and peaceful spot, perfect for escaping everyday stress and spending quality time together. You can borrow your own boat to explore the lake and enjoy fishing 🎣🌿

The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking northern Lake Vättern's beautiful archipelago lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inputs. Here a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small city of Askersund. Tivedens National Park is close as well as the long sandy beach Harjebaden. The house was completed in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Fresh cottage with an indescribably beautiful view of Lake Vättern and Visingsö. Here you can enjoy silence and tranquility and the spectacle of nature. The house is located at the end of a gravel road, so there is no traffic in the area. There are lovely gravel roads for long walks. At the viewpoint, there is also a nature trail about 2 km long, with a wonderful nature experience with everything from deciduous forest, stream ravine and breathtaking views of Lake Vättern.

Older wing building with simple older standard located between Vadstena and Hästholmen. Beautifully located overlooking Tåkern, Vättern and Omberg. Possibility of swimming within bicycle distance. The house has a fully-equipped kitchen, small bathroom with shower, two bedrooms with double beds. Space is available for an extra bed. Private patio with evening sun where you have garden furniture and charcoal grill. On the farm, there are dogs, cats and free-range chickens.

Beachfront 1920s charm next to Vättern and Omberg

Welcome to our Dalhem! Here you live in a charming 1920s villa with all the comforts. Enjoy the warming fireplace during the winter months or the evening sun in our large, lush garden with direct access to lovely Lake Vättern during the summer. 300 meters away there is a nice sandy beach and a few kilometers away a shop with all the essentials. During the summer, there is also a nice restaurant - Gyllenhammars - with fantastic locally produced food. Warm welcome!
