Tiny beautiful studio in the center of Brittany

Despite its small size, this compact studio is well arranged and bright. It is equipped with a bathroom, kitchenette and a double bed on the mezzanine. This is accessed by a steep staircase, so not recommended for people with limited mobility. The accommodation has a balcony and on the other side a private entrance from the parking lot. A seven-minute walk to the attractive village, crossed by the Nantes – Brest Canal, there are shops including the bakery, supermarket, banks and restaurants.

My place is in Gouarec, a pretty town in the heart of Brittany, on the Nantes-Brest Canal, the Voie Verte 6 & 7 cycling routes & forests. All with miles of cycling & walking. The beautiful coastlines of Brittany are only just over 1 hour drive. The beach at Lac de Guerledan is 10 mins away. A good selection of shops, bars & restaurants are available. Renovated apartment in the former attic of a farmhouse with a view of the Quénécan forest. Sordan Beach (restaurant, water activities, swimming) is a 5-minute drive, 30-minute walk away. 10 minutes away, on Sunday mornings: Bon Repos market or visit the Abbey of Bon Repos or enjoy the towpaths of the Nantes-Brest Canal. Hiking or mountain biking trails at the foot of the house. Shops are 10 minutes away. Optional linens and towels. No cleaning service.

The refuge

Need for nature, calm, come and enjoy a stay in the heart of Brittany. This small, typically Breton house is south-facing. Very easy access, 2 minutes from the Rennes Brest main road. On foot, you can access Lake Guerlédan. For the more motivated, to the Abbey of Bon Repos in Saint Gelven, to the Beau Rivage site in Caurel, to the Sordan cove in Sait Aignan... By car you are 12 km from Mûr de Bretagne, 30 km from Pontivy and 55 km from Saint Brieuc.

For the most athletics, the 40 kms of hiking trails around the lake would be the challenge they need, while the green way on the old St-Méen-Carhaix railroad or the towpath from Nantes to Brest would delight the walkers, hikers or horse riders. For the most calm and the stones lovers, they can leisure in the serenity of the Abbey of Bon-Repos.

Welcome to Lann Avel, a characterful longhouse located in a quiet village, ideal for a relaxing stay. Enjoy a large wooded park to relax, a stone's throw from the Liscuis hiking trails and its nature reserve. The canal from Nantes to Brest, the abbey of Bon-Repos and the lake of Guerlédan are very close. Swimming, walks, water activities, shops and swimming pool are accessible in a few minutes. A peaceful and refreshing setting awaits you!

Relax in this quiet and stylish space. The ground floor offers a very comfortable and spacious living space with a very bright kitchen, a central island for dining and a living room with TV, as well as a toilet. Upstairs you will find the sleeping area with two bedrooms and a shower room with wc. The terrace area is equipped for outdoor dining and relaxing. The firewood is the responsibility of the guest. It's not provided.

We are also 50 minutes from the Pink Granite Coast and 1 hour from the Golf du Morbihan.

A few kilometers from Lake Guerlédan, this cottage for 4 people, redone in 2012, is composed of an entrance, a kitchen/dining room – living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and two toilets. It is located 5 km from Bon Repos Abbey, 10 km from Lake Guerlédan, 60 km from Lorient or St Brieuc. Guests will have access to a large garden, deck chairs, BBQ, ping pong table and badminton set.
