great place even if not beachfront. 20 mins away anda's beaches and 30 mins away the canumantad falls. host was very responsive and addressed all our needs. even got us an extra bed!

Highly recommend! Place is pet friendly. Easy to find. Near establishment (Restos and attractions). Peaceful and quiet, the staff is friendly and the owner is very responsive.

The room and place was clean and comfortable. Everything was just as whatvwas indicated on the description and shown on the photos. Sir Jorman was bery friendly, responsive and accomodating. There's lot of things you can do around the area if you reaearch enough. There's a fee of ₱350 to access the shared beach. It's worth it since you can access all amenities including their infinity and only 7mins walk from OMP. There's also a nearby Bus Terminal if you want to go somewhere especially to Cebu City Tops. Fare was only ₱51 from Mactan Newtown to IT Park Lahug. Hoping to go back to make new and better memories ✌️

The entire stay was great, with all the basic amenities provided, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The room had a nice view of the pool, adding a relaxing ambiance to the stay. The unit owner was very accommodating and flexible, making check-in and check-out smooth and convenient. Overall, it was a great choice for a short getaway, offering both comfort and convenience.

Extraordinary place with direct access to the beach, big common areas to spend time together, but also enough space for everyone to have a little bit of privacy. Was a perfect last destination to relax after weeks of traveling.

Having stayed in Cebu previously, I wish I had done more research and found this lovely penthouse for our previous trip. The location in Mactan is ideal, the view superb, the kitchen well equipped and overall the penthouse was very clean and very comfortable. Grace helped us with transport which, having been to Cebu previously, was still very much appreciated. With my partner being a filipino we will be returning to Cebu and definitely look to re-book with Grace.

Happy with our stay here:) Hosts were very responsive, friendly and offered to show us around. The unit was clean, cozy and looked like the pictures. The area has everything you need within walking distance.

We absolutely fell in love with this place—so much so that we didn’t want to go home! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by stylish minimalist interiors that made us feel instantly relaxed. The spacious balcony was hands-down our favorite spot, with its gorgeous sea view that looked like it was straight out of a postcard. The space felt like our own private escape. Definitely worth every peso we spent. To top it all off, the hosts were super responsive, friendly, and easy to talk to—they made everything smooth from booking to check-out. Can’t wait to go back.🤎

I was travelling with my elderly mom and my young daughter. My mom appreciated the daily housekeeping, my kid loved the pool. For me, what stood out was the location - not too far from key areas but away from the crowded touristy parts. The only concern I raised was the internet - it was weak and kept getting disconnected. It meant I couldn't get some online work done, but also that I just had to surrender to relaxing in Sofia's place. 🙂 And yes, there is a new, friendly owner. Some issues I've previously read in google reviews would no longer be true. 😏

My stay was great and the hosts are very friendly and helpful with everything. Even got local recommendations and the shops and restaurants know the hosts by name as they are well known residents. Great place, close to areas of interest and also right next to motorcycle rental. overall, recommend this place and will be back again.

It was really unfortunate that we only stayed one day. It's so clean, well-equipped with necessary items, and especially the host is so kind from check-in to check-out. They even helped me enter the nearby beach and responded quickly, so I've been resting really well in a cozy space without any inconvenience at all. I definitely want to visit again next time. If people around you say they're going to go, it's a place I'd definitely recommend. I also felt that the accommodation run by a Korean was different. I really recommend it!!!

We were delighted with our stay. The accommodation is impeccable with a lot of attention to the little details, nothing is lacking. Peter and Rowena are always available without ever being invasive. One of the decisive points that had caught our attention was direct access to the sea and we were not disappointed, the place is perfect for snorkeling and diving. It's very quiet, both in the day and night. The counterpart is that it takes a means of transport but we had a car so no problem for us. Thank you for your hospitality and don't change anything, everything is perfect.

It is a high floor corner room, and you can see the sea from every window!　The interior of the room was lovely, well cleaned, and it was a very comfortable stay. Sharon was happy to check in early, and welcomed us with a friendly smile and polite explanation. There are also delicious restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and drug stores nearby, and at night you can hear nice music from nearby resort hotels. It was a great time to stay here for a long time.I'll definitely be back!　Thank you very much.

Beautiful unit Accommodating Responsive Clean place Child Friendly place

A beautiful, peaceful escape from the city. John, the host, was incredibly helpful and arranged everything so we could reach the island with ease. The place is remote with stunning views, a serene beach, and little to no cell signal—perfect for a digital detox. But no worries if you need to connect—the resort has fast Wi-Fi. Special mention to Aden Khalil, the sweetest boy I played with every morning—his energy and smile made my days brighter! The locals were warm, respectful, and never intrusive, unlike in other more crowded islands. Bring your own snorkel gear—there’s vibrant marine life just steps from shore. I also recommend planning your meals ahead and bringing supplies from the mainland. If you prefer not to cook, nearby resorts are happy to serve walk-in guests—just inform them before 4PM so they can prepare. Everything about this place felt genuine, calm, and recharging. Would love to return and stay even longer next time. A true hidden gem worth experiencing.

I've been using private homes in Philippines before, 3 or 4 times. This stay at Salome's place is by far the best. A beautiful home, clean, with all amenities you could ever wish for (tv, aircon, big living room, 2 large bedrooms, Netflix, patio, private beach with sitting area to watch the sunset, kitchen, yes even a house gekko! I cannot recommend this one too much. Only negative thing (if I must) is the lack of parking space but we managed fine anyway. It's near the road, so expect little noise on occasion, but as you close the door, all is gone and you can enjoy your stay there flawlessly with your family and/or friends. As the host, Salome was super friendly and warm, it might be because my wife is from the local area, but nevertheless Salome made sure we didn't lack anything and helped in all matters. 10/10 stay. If we ever go to Valencia, Bohol again, I won't choose elsewhere to spend my nights.

Very good stay at Michelle's place, it perfectly matches the description and exceeded our expectations. Being able to benefit from the services of the resort is a real plus (restaurant, swimming pool, concierge, activities...). The staff as well as Michelle are very attentive. The location is also perfect, 2 minutes walk from the beach. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again!

The unit is simple one room, clean, comfortable, air conditioner, quiet, right next to small public beach, and across from new resort, with public beach, and restaurants.
