Christy was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home in this magical place. The yurt was so comfy, the outdoor space was beautiful with lots of places to enjoy the sunshine and the river view. The studio was cozy and well stocked with everything we could need. There is a great bakery/coffee shop and market just down the road. We absolutely loved staying here!

Had a great stay. Very peaceful and quiet. A beautiful pool and hot tub. There’s a path of old growth redwoods right down the street which I went too often. It is also a very beautiful short drive to the ocean. This place is a little bit out of the way so I suggest getting everything you need at the store before you go. Also found out there is no gas station in Occidental! But if you’re looking for a peaceful forest retreat this is the place.

Joseph responded to our questions promptly. The area was pleasant and peaceful. Although there was some construction visible in some windows and walls, it didn't disrupt our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful this space was! From the luxurious king-size bed to the stylish and thoughtfully curated decor, every detail felt intentional and inviting. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and truly exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to come back! I highly recommend and the hotel is beautiful. Great view from the bay in this unit. Thank you!

Nice place, clean, great view. Really enjoyed the stay. Someone mentioned the short duration of hot water in the shower- it actually lasted for awhile so perhaps they solved that problem. It would be great if they fixed / updated the door locks and keypad. They are very old. The back door handle fell off and also the lockbox for key. It’s difficult to lock the doors. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend.

Clean bathrooms, nice view and quiet. Hosts provided complimentary popcorns and candies. Our entire party thoroughly enjoyed the property. Patricia the manager was also very responsive. We had a minor issue where the kitchen appliances were out of power but the host responded within minutes to help resolve the issue. Will bookmark and come again if available.

Karen was super helpful and detailed. We did not have to worry about anything. Great Location and Amazing view! The deck overlooks the bay and the hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus. Will definitely stay here again ! Highly recommend!
