Beachfront holiday rental in Blue Ridge Shores

This place was amazing. The house is beautiful and we loved the fact it was dog friendly. All of the amenities they had were great as well. Maybe I originally missed it but I didn’t realize there was a gated back yard for your dog from the listing as well as a hot tub!! (although we didn’t use it since the weather was very hot) Daniel was very responsive when I had questions about the water hose on the back dock and anything else I had questions about. The back dock is where the fun is at. From the water slide, to being able to fish. My kids who are 10 and 7 had the time of their lives! They did not want to leave. The kayaks, canoe and paddle board were such a great time too. My husband took one of the kayaks out to fish and really enjoyed himself. It’s a quiet nice neighborhood and I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a fun peaceful time that you don’t even have to leave the property!

Had a great stay! Would recommend for adults with or without children! Beautiful and peaceful surroundings which makes for a very relaxing vacay!

Great place! We had so much fun and relaxation at this place. The kids spent the day in the water and on the raft. We had s’mores around the fire pit every night and enjoyed the game room in the evenings. Daniel was very quick to respond. Easy to give this a 5*!

The place was great! You find everything you need. The outdoor furniture can be updated as most of them were old and broken but the place itself was amazing and the cove is quiet and wonderful.

The house in Luray was amazing! I loved the location and it was close to Main Street and the view of the mountains was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to cook at the house. We do wish that the house had a bathroom in the basement but other than that it had all the bedrooms we needed for the five of us! We would definitely use this house again for another trip to Luray!

Without a doubt, I will always check the availability of this listing first when we are visiting Lake Anna! The house was a perfect size for 14 adults, though we could have easily fit more comfortably. The home is gorgeous - it is a modern oasis with enough amenities and additions to still make you feel at home. The location is perfect- minutes from the grocery store, gas, etc. To top it all off, there is a 2-story boathouse and a well-appointed patio, which make this home the best place to enjoy beautiful weather and lake views. Lastly, the host team is incredible. We had an issue with Wi-Fi and a shower, and they had techs support immediately. We also discovered the grill was not able to be used - the team had a new grill delivered within an hour so we could grill over the holiday weekend!! I'm not sure that I've ever experienced a more dedicated team wanting their guests to have the best experience possible. No questions asked, a 5-star rental option!

Beautiful house inside and out. Thoroughly enjoyed the location, beach, dock, deck, scenery, in addition to great fishing. Excellent communication with the owner. We are looking forward to return again soon.

My group of friends stayed for 3 nights on Memorial Day weekend. We all agreed this was one of the best weekends we have had! The place was gorgeous and there were so many fun amenities and activities to do both in and out of the house. We could not have asked for a better house for our trip to Lake Anna! We will be coming back every year!! 😁

Really beautiful home in an exceptional location. The home was very clean, nice, and well-appointed. The hosts had clear instructions, were responsive, and had clearly put a lot of thought into making sure the house has everything it needs for guests, including in the kitchen. This would be a great house for families with lots of kids. The location is exceptional on the lake and when the weather is nice, it’s a perfect place to be outside.

This house is a gem! It’s our second time staying here and my family loves it! We have two adult daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters, we love the pool, pool house with pool table and the screened in porch! All of us have our own levels of bedrooms and bathrooms. The place is clean, has the little touches of home and Lois is a dream to work with. It’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for! We hope to return next summer! I hate writing such a good review because it will only be harder to book in the future!

Glenn is a great host. Friendly, helpful, flexible. Wonderful lawn that goes down to the river. Canoe and kayaks available. Fire pit with lots of free wood. Well equipped kitchen. Very quiet. We’d go back anytime.

The house was wonderfully situated by the water. We had a great time playing in the water and kayaking. The screened in porch was great to have meals in and relax. The kids really liked the game room. We played pool a lot and watched a movie.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house had ample space for our group of 8. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the necessities to cook a good meal. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and hanging out on the big couch in the living room. If it wasn't so cold we would have loved spending time on the large back deck or sitting down by the lake.

Staying at the Blue Heron Hideaway checked all the boxes for what we were looking for! It was very relaxing, comfortable, spacious and very beautiful throughout. We were so excited that it was just steps away from its own wide sandy beach with kayaks, a canoe, a paddle board and a fun floating dock, allowing our whole family to be together on the lake at same time! We had so many places to relax and enjoy being together, including a large hammock, a fire pit, and lots of big Adirondack chairs all in a row on the beach. Daniel, our host, was very quick to get back with us on any questions we had and very responsive to help and follow up to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for! And it was! It was hard to leave this beautiful home and setting but we are hopeful to enjoy it again soon!
