Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Block Island

This house is a gem! The inside is exactly as pictured and is very comfortable. The views from the deck are stunning, especially during sunrise. Pam has equipped the house with all the essentials and we were even pleasantly surprised with welcome treats at check in. Highly recommend this home for families. Some activities we enjoyed were kayaking across the pond to the beach (not easy- but highlight of the trip!), crabbing and fishing off the dock, wine on the deck, walking less than a mile to ice cream and coffee shops and biking around the quiet neighborhood. I really can’t recommend this home and host more! Fabulous stay.

We had an amazing time at the lakehouse! Tim and Marissa are super communicative and left many helpful directions! The property is beautiful and the house felt like home away from home! I can't wait to go back! 10/10 recommended 😊

It was a very relaxing home surrounded by beautiful waterfront wildlife( a pair of swans and other birds ) and views. It was well worth the stay and I would like to stay there again and I would recommend it to family and friends in the future.

This house was the perfect location to take a few minutes to walk to Mystic Pizza. From there, you could walk down Main Street and see all the boutiques and restaurants. It is a very friendly town and a perfect little getaway.

This was such an amazing stay! Hayden House had everything we needed for the stay, and more! The home is beautifully built, and has all of the necessities. Great distance to town, peaceful location but only a short walk to town. The hosts were responsive and everything about the stay was easy and relaxing. We are already talking about booking it again next summer, absolutely recommend!!!

Beautiful little cottage with everything you need. Very private and a very quiet neighborhood. Close to all the shops and restaurants. You can walk to both if you choose. Only 10 minutes from the beach. Marjory was there to greet us when we arrived and was there to say goodbye and safe travels.

Nice little Bungalow! Perfect for up to 4 people. Very private and clean. The Location was Great. Right across the street from the Beach with a beautiful view. Has a small Firepit. Only a mile or 2 to Downtown. Would definitely go back.

We loved our stay! It’s perfect distance to walk to dinner downtown. Off street parking was a huge plus. Brennan gave us a great recommendation upon our arrival! Love the touch of having snacks and drinks in the fridge. Overall perfect place to stay at in Newport!

Elaine has a lovely apartment. Very pristine and quiet with amazing views. Our stay was extremely comfortable. Her instructions were perfect and we had no problem with whatsoever anything. If you’re ever there do not miss the morning sunrise. Outstanding. Thank you Elaine & Rich for a lovely stay. We hope to come back some day.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Out of all the airbnbs I have stayed at Jennifer’s listing has outdone them all!! First of all, Jennifer was the most amazing host and treated us like family! Secondly, the house was spotless, not a speck could be found (and I am usually picky about cleanliness) — it was absolutely exceptional!!! I will definitely be coming back multiple times. Thank you Jennifer for hosting us!

I stayed at Larna’s place for just one night and regret not booking for longer. This has been my favourite location I’ve ever stayed at and gave me a new love for Newport. The place encapsulates Newports charm with a coastal and updated theme in such a historical and amazing building. Larna and Dan supply quite literally everything you could think of if you forget to pack it. There were toothbrushes, body wash, snacks, extra blankets, even fresh muffins from the local bakery. The house felt so cozy. Dan was incredibly welcoming and kind helping with luggage upon arrival and showing us around the rooms. I recommend for groups of 2-4 people, I’d say 5 if someone is willing to sleep on the couch…which I would do as it was wicked comfortable! I highly recommend booking this stay, I wish I had more time spent here and will look forward to booking again and recommending to other people. I feel privileged to have spent time in such a fascinating location with such amazing history!

Great spot! We had an amazing time here. Carolyn is kind and helpful. Her place is the best location. Right near a playground, basketball court and the ocean wall. Also many bars and restaurants. The location is beautiful!

The Villa was exactly as described! Easy communication with owner. A perfect getaway weekend, every amenity we could want or need! Look forward to visiting again in the near future!

We loved Montauk - low key, wild and upmarket at the same time. This apartment was perfect, super quiet yet near everything and loved seeing wild deer from the terrace

Just had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place! The place was impeccably clean, and Robert was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our visit. While the manor has a charmingly vintage vibe and could use a bit of modernization, we truly enjoyed our time there. The warmth of the atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We recommend for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!
