A great stay at Chester's Lodge. Spent a long weekend walking in the Lake District, and this was a great place to base ourselves from. Furnished to a very high spec, with comfy beds and a great communal space to relax after a long day's walking. Thanks again Sarah for having us, and being so responsive and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Amazing find perfect cottage didn’t want to leave the family loved it, homemade cake and wine/milk on arrival were a lovely and much appreciated touch. Very cosy cottage fire lovely, we hope your guests keep your cottage to the 5 star level it is. Thank you again would love to come back

Stuart and Lynda gave us very clear instructions to get to the place and it is one of the most beautiful stays we have been in. The drive is amazing and the walks from the backyard are great as well. It is easy to get to if you drive and is 30-40 mins away from most famous Lake District hikes. Definitely would recommend

This is a lovely place to stay in a quiet, peaceful location. Great view from the windows with lots of greenery. Coniston is nearby and a lovely spot for exploring. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and good shower- all the essentials! Hosts were also accommodating when we had a last minute change of plans due to flight times.
