Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bland County

Peyton's place appears to be newly remodeled, and its well done. Its conveniently located between the Spearhead trails in Virgina and Hatfield and Mcoy in West Virgina. (Be sure to get a Spearhead trail sticker prior to riding those trails, we found out the wrong way) Peyton was great to communicate with and very fair. I was making date and guest changes down to the last days and they accommodated all the requests. I will definenly stay in this place again. Great trails, great location, great to deal with! The lodge and its hosts are amazing! Our only complaint is that our stay was too short to fully appreciate all that this lodge had to offer! My husband and I and our 8 children (ages 22, 20, 20, 18, 16, 15, 13, and 11) were visiting grandparents in the area. We had a fabulous time hiking the trails, playing poker, having a campfire, playing basketball, fishing in the creek, cooking in the kitchen, visiting with family, and taking in the amazing views. Several of the kids even said that it was good that the place didn't have great cellular service. The house is spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked for any kind of cooking. We would highly recommend this home and plan to stay again soon!

I had an amazing stay ! The home was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay! Such a peaceful stay . The setting was incredibly beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Burkes Garden was beautiful, and I loved sipping my morning coffee on the porch. Great place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy your time away from home and relax. The house and decorations was absolutely beautiful and well equipped with everything you need while being away from home. Me and my family had the absolute best time while looking for a place to accommodate me and my big family this was the perfect place. We will definitely be back!!!

This was the most beautiful location we have ever stayed at. The inside of the rental is gorgeous and has lots of room. There is a wrap- around porch with fantastic views of the mountains. There are friendly donkeys to greet you, and cows and goats to see. The hosts are super friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay. Everything was as described and perfect.
