Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bland County

This home was as breathtaking as the mountains surrounding it. Wanting to get away after a death in the family, this gave us what we needed and more! The home had more than needed in every aspect. The yard was a great place to hang out and play. The kids, as well as adults loved the stream to swim in. Staying here is definitely one of my new number one places I’ve stayed through Airbnb. Highly recommend, actually suggest you go check it out along with the surrounding areas. There’s something special about Tazewell and this home! We will return for sure. The host communicated timely, and was happy to accommodate a special request we had due to the circumstances of our visit. Most of our family is there and they too loved the home and was blown away.

The lodge and its hosts are amazing! Our only complaint is that our stay was too short to fully appreciate all that this lodge had to offer! My husband and I and our 8 children (ages 22, 20, 20, 18, 16, 15, 13, and 11) were visiting grandparents in the area. We had a fabulous time hiking the trails, playing poker, having a campfire, playing basketball, fishing in the creek, cooking in the kitchen, visiting with family, and taking in the amazing views. Several of the kids even said that it was good that the place didn't have great cellular service. The house is spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked for any kind of cooking. We would highly recommend this home and plan to stay again soon!

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home! It was perfect for our large family. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen was very inviting. We felt cozy and at home.

My family and I stayed at CJ & Mitch’s place for 1 night on our way back home from visiting family out of state. Staying at a hotel with two children and a toddler isn’t much fun. We almost did until, luckily I checked Airbnb. CJ & Mitch’s beautiful home was near the half way point of our drive home. My whole family is so happy that we found CJ & Mitch’s gem up in the mountains! The views on the wraparound deck are absolutely breathtaking! My wife and I watch the sunset and sunrise on each side of the house. My two children were upset that we had to leave the next day. Especially after they got to play with their beautiful and friendly dogs most of the morning while I packed the car. CJ & Mitch go above and beyond expectations during your stay. I have never been to an Airbnb with such thoughtful, caring and welcoming owners! Highly recommended! We will definitely be booking in the future!

We had the best time . There was plenty of room for large groups, and it’s close to the Hatfield McCoy trails! Everyone in our group loved this unique house. Kathy is a great host as well!

Jenna's place was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the beds comfortable. the twins were very soft (my favorite) and the others good, and firm - not hard. The bathroom was very clean but very tight. my husband had trouble finding room between the toilet and sink ( I was fine). There was a cold snap that night and the kitchen stayed colder than other rooms. Follow her directions. The 77 exit more south (of 2) was super easy - not the northern one. Easy to get to supermarkets and restaurant. would stay again.

My wife and I both needed to decompress, and this was exactly what the doctor ordered. What a cozy corner of heaven that spot is. Lisa was an awesome host, and the place is well appointed. I will mention that cell reception isn't great there, but that turned out to be the best part for us. If you like the sound of active tranquility then you will LOVE this place, not to mention it's beautiful.

Our stay at this cabin was wonderful. Very peaceful and somewhat isolated back in the woods. The living room sofa and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Not far off the interstate and easy to find per the instructions to use GPS coordinates. Would love to stay there again!

This is our second time staying at this cabin and it was just as amazing as the first time!! Very secluded and peaceful. Also super accommodating to pet owners as well which is our big selling point. This place is truly perfect and a nice hidden gem. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone!
