It is located about 25 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 50 minutes from Västervik and the archipelago. It offers all amenities and from the garden leads a path to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. Boat in its own small lake is included and child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

The lush garden invites you to relax, and the wood-burning stove spreads warmth as you sink into a soft armchair. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor, and the house is best suited for guests without walking difficulties. Nature surrounds the house with hiking trails and a genuine Småland village within walking distance. There are several lakes for swimming nearby, and good opportunities for both boat trips and fishing.

The cottage is located privately by the gravel road surrounded by pastures and forest. Here you can easily live close to nature. There is no electricity or running water, which means you can light candles, fire in the stove, shower outside in our outdoor shower, cook over an open fire/on a wood stove, grill or on the gas stove. Charming outdoor toilet available. A couple of kilometers away there is a municipal pool with changing room and shower.

Summer house by the lake

Relax with the whole family in this home by a lake surrounded by the Småland forests. By the lake you can fish and swim. The cabin is equipped with air conditioning that provides a comfortable indoor temperature even during the hottest days of summer. The house is located just 10 minutes from the summer town of Västervik, and 30 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world. Within 10 minutes drive, there are several lakes for fishing. The accommodation consists of a house of 100 sqm and a guest house of 25 sqm as well as a terrace of 80 sqm with a view.

Swedish lake house between Vimmerby and Västervik

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with host). The view of the lake creates the conditions for lovely nature experiences - all year round! In winter time, lovely bonfires and in summer the lake cools! With a canoe (included), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard, and you'll have the opportunity to see protected animals, from white-tailed eagles to otters.

Cottage in Djursdala - Bullebo

Stay at a charming little horse farm that offers a unique and scenic environment with its own garden. Located 15 minutes outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here is a newly renovated red little cottage with an annex, which together can accommodate up to six people. A short walk leads to a lake perfect for evening swimming, there is also a child-friendly swimming area with diving tower that is about five minutes away by car in Lake Juttern. Outside the junction is the Sevedeleden trail, which takes you to the Djursdalarunda.

Welcome to rent our cozy cottage in Grönhult with proximity to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's world 23 km and the summer town Västervik 35 km. The cottage is located inside a gravel road with the forest as the nearest neighbor. A nice child-friendly swimming area is five minutes away by car. Two bedrooms. Bathroom with shower (water heater 50l) No drain so it is a combustion toilet. In the kitchen there is a stove, half fridge/freezer and microwave. There is barbecue outside. For outdoor games there is a dartboard, bokia and kubb.

Lilla Stugan is located in the middle of the woods and meadows and has its own swimming area, sauna and boat. It is part of an old Swedish farm on a 10-hectare estate located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora directly from the terrace or during long walks in the surrounding area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the beautifully lit terrace.

There is something for everyone if you want to go swimming, fishing, enjoying life etc. Located just outside of the picturesque village of Gamleby, approx. 25km north of Västervik. The beautiful farm garden is overlooking Gamlebyviken and you can take a walk down the gravel road to the bridge.

Our summer cottage is located in the middle of Smålands nature near the small community of Locknevi, 27km from Vimmerby. The property is located on a very quiet rural road from where you can take wonderful bike tours and hikes in our picture book landscape. The next lake with a beach is 5 km away and the Baltic Sea is easy to reach by car.
