The cottage is set on the riverbanks of Browns River with a very sunny aspect overlooking the Kingston Beach Golf Course with beautiful views of Mount Wellington. When you walk through the front gate you feel a tranquil calmness come over you when you see the river flowing past the garden with ducks and swans paddling in the water.

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. A lovely 2 bedrooms Holiday House, just 1 mins driving distance to "Kingston Beach", and 3 mins to "Blackmans Bay Beach". Also recomended a secret small beach "Boronia Beach" just next street entre, only for walk acess. We are 15 minutes driving from Hobart City Centre, also we are the central base to all the toursim attractions like Bruny Island, Tahune Airwalk, Huon Trail, Salamanca Place, the Main Wharf, Mona Art Musum, Port Arthur and other good spots.

Absorb the sunrise from your king sized bed before exploring the sights of Hobart, a ten minute drive, or the various destinations in Southern Tasmania. The studio is attached to the host's home and although you will have complete privacy, we are on site if you need anything during your stay. Parking is available on site.

Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Garden Apartment - beside the sea!

Our renovated apartment is just 20 m from glorious Blackman's Bay beach; at the quiet end. You can sit in the garden, enjoy the ocean view and at night be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Perfect place to just relax. Please note that during peak periods we may require a minimum stay of 6 nights; ie/. between December 24th to 30th.
