Ackroydon studio is in a lovely garden setting with a 15 minute walk to the village of Blackheath. Daytime bus service is within 50 metres. It is a quiet spot apart from the the abundant birdlife (cockatoos, magpies, crimson rosellas, kookaburras) at dusk and dawn. Entrance to Blue Mountains National Park is a couple of kilometres further down the road with easy hike to Perry's Lookdown and Anvil Rock. There is a comfortable queen bed with electric blankets and a small kitchenette.

This is the Blue House. Peaceful and quiet, but only 5 minutes walk to Blackheath station and to all that Blackheath has to offer. In winter, relax inside by the toasty gas fire. In summer enjoy breakfast on the sunny deck. Cross the road to the Memorial Park and swimming pool (open November to March). Tackle some of the Blue Mountains' great walks.
