Only 25 minutes drive to Stavanger and 8 minutes drive to Preikestolen parking. Jørpeland city center is within walking distance. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen. In the living room there are 2 sofa beds, space for 4 people. Three bedrooms with a double bed in each room. There is also a baby bed. Gamlahuset by the sea - near Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Preikestolen 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from previous guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.

Tananger is located approx. 10 km from Sola Airport and Stavanger. Very good bus connection.

The cottage is located a little by itself on the outskirts of a farm stun, beautifully located on the slope down towards the idyllic Riskedalsvatnet. From the dining table or terrace there is a view of the water. Built in the late 1980s, the cabin has been completely refurbished with modern colour options in 2020.
