The Cottage - Self contained rural holiday retreat

A delightful self contained rural holiday chalet situated in the 3.5 acre grounds of our smallholding. We are in a small rural hamlet surrounded by orchards and footpaths with a village pub 4 doors away. Close to sandy beaches at Minnis Bay, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate's Royal Harbour. Whitstable and the city of Canterbury are close by. We are also only 30 minutes to the eurotunnel and dover port if you fancy a day trip to france. Sandwich Bay and St Georges golf course are a short drive.

A homely and quite stylish bungalow with large, light soaked conservatory, and garden (part wild, part gardened). Botany Bay with it's expansive beach and chalk cliffs is at the end of the road. The amenities are pretty good - but there's no hot tub or pool, sorry. Good wi-fi, terrestial TV, sound system, games, jig saws, wierd art and recently re-fitted kitchen. Nearby is the Margate scene - with everything from classic fish and chips to the Turner gallery, Broadstairs and Canterbury's not far.

Just a short walk to the beautiful sandy beach of Botany Bay. The ‘Hide-Away’ is all you need to enjoy a peaceful break by the sea. The property has off road parking with a private entrance. 2 steps lead to the entrance hall and off of this is the bathroom and the main accommodation(1 large room).A small kitchen including: electric cooker, microwave,fridge/freezer and washing machine. The property is in nice quiet area with fields and woodland walks nearby Keys left in door - guests can let themselves in, we are generally around if you have questions There is a BBQ area and a heated pool (shared with hosts).
