Cabin holiday rentals in Birch Lake

This place was amazing! So much more to do than just stay and sleep. It’s essentially a campsite with various buildings that contribute to the list of activities out there.

Our stay at Jason’s cabin was a 4/5 experience. While the cabin had potential, several issues impacted our visit. The biggest problem was the misleading description: we assumed each cabin was private based on the photos, but the fine print revealed it’s actually a shared community space. We spoke with other guests, and they had the same confusion. One cabin was told the sauna was private, while others were given shared-use instructions, which felt inconsistent. The hot tub area had a red ant infestation, and I ended up with several bites. Additionally, the property has multiple hosts, leading to unclear communication. One of the other occupants even shared pictures showing how unclean their cabin was, which raised concerns about cleanliness across the property. In our cabin, the floor was coming apart, which was disappointing. Knowing all this now, I’d consider staying again if I were more inclined to being social and sharing space with others. However it wasn’t quite what I expected

The place itself was nice and updated providing us with everything we needed. We loved that it was so close to everything. And it was a bonus to have the pickleball court, firepit, and hot tub.

The house was perfect! Loved the views. Easy access to the lake. Quiet neighborhood.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! Perfect little retreat! Comfy beds, super clean and cozy. We'll most definitely be back!

This was a great weekend trip for 4 wonderful ladies who needed some R&R and they were excited and happy to be there. I could not have had a more perfect trip! I was beautiful on the lake and private. Thank you so much! LOVED IT!

Julio’s place was well appointed and had a great vibe. This should be a must stay place for anyone traveling to southwest Michigan. It did not disappoint.

I was in town with my family for a wedding and we rented out Daniel’s place. Everything was as described but more. Daniel reached out on day of check in to make sure we got in easily and he was so responsive with any questions! There was a welcome card, snacks and candies which is such a great touch! The views are gorgeous as well and everyone around was so nice! Also, a nice touch was promoting the local soap business in the bathroom—I was able to go and pick some up before I went home! I would definitely stay here again!

One of my favorite AirBnb visits ever. Country cabin feel with modern conveniences and lux hotel touches, like the decor, toiletries provided, nicely rolled and displayed towels and blankets. We loved having the property to ourselves for solitude and privacy. We loved every attention to detail. Very clean. Peaceful. My favorite things: The beautiful cedar interior; the new kitchen sponge; the room darkening shades; the fun assortment of games; the candy, snacks and ketchup, mustard, and mayo provided; the chain lock on the front door that gave me added peace of mind; the yard games; the swing outside; the fully stocked and prepped fire pit; the walking trail through the forest (it loops around so whichever side you start on brings you back to the yard); the outlets next to the beds; 2 bathrooms; and the second light in the bathroom was nice and bright enough to apply my makeup. Only suggestion would be to provide a bucket or shovel to help put out the fire. Five stars plus!

Linda and Floyd's cabin was comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful wall decor.

We loved this unique and memorable stay! We were in town for a wedding at Farrand Hall and the location was super convenient. The space was comfortable, fun, and definitely one-of-a-kind. We’d absolutely recommend it and would stay again.

This was our first glamping experience and it was absolutely amazing! The cabin was adorable and so accommodating! My children loved it!! We couldn’t be more happy and excited to stay there as soon as we can!! The cabin, the community, the communication with everyone was prompt, defined, and very accommodating! Cabin decor is spot on. We arrived and once entering knew we picked the right place. Was our central location for some rockhounding. Cooked all meals from cabin and used the fireplace on the night it was cold and rainy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Holley's place fit the description and photos exactly as presented. We were looking for a place that was relatively close to Notre Dame, and that allowed us to bring our dog. This place fit the bill. It was easy to find, clean, and as I said, fit the description and photos exactly. It was also a nice area to walk our dog. We were here in December and so we could not take advantage of the lake, but if you are here in summer, it's just a stone's throw away, and I imagine very nice. When you think about how much hotels in South Bend and even Elkhart charge on game days this was a no brainer. The price was solid and it was a relatively fast and easy drive from ND. I would definitely stay here again on another game weekend. Thank you Holley!

This place is amazing. Part of me wants to keep it a secret cause I want it available next time I go back. This place is everything. If you want to be on a lake, have privacy and feel like there are no problems then this is your spot. I could not recommend it anymore. It’s just soooo special. Exactly what we needed! Enjoy!

Lynette's cottage is incredible and full of history and nostalgia. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, to the awesome sun porch overlooking the vintage playground and the beautiful lake. Fun and relaxation was had by all the ages of our group and we a can't wait to come for longer next season.

Really enjoyed the privacy and access to a beautiful little lake right in the backyard. Had a great time kayaking and fishing off the pier.

Great spot, close enough to more touristy areas for activities, public beaches and restaurants, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Our family of four had more than enough space and we really enjoyed the place. The property’s pool was great, and the private beach was really nice as well. Dena was always responsive whenever we had questions. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Upon booking I received an email describing the property and the expectations. The cabin was peaceful and we loved the fire pit. It was relaxing and we really enjoyed the wooded area it was in. The i side of the cabin was rustic and engaging. The living room was comfy and warm. All of the wineries and places to explore were right at our fingertips. Awesome location and gracious hosts. Highly recommend!

Dennis was very communicative and kept in touch throughout my stay. I even had a tornado warning one day and Dennis messaged me within minutes of me receiving the notification to make sure everything was still good. Could not have asked for a better place. It was super close to my aunt and uncle so it was very convenient but for most people they will love how secluded and peaceful it is.

We loved this cabin! Very quiet & peaceful. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but we were still close to several cute towns. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We would absolutely stay here again!

The Red Cottage was a beautiful, serene place! Peaceful, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. We stayed one night while in town for a graduation. Wish we had more time this explore the outdoors! The only challenge was the only bathroom was one the main floor and all the sleeping accommodations were on the second level. This made it difficult for my 89 yr old mother. But we made due and enjoyed our time there!! Very clean and beautiful!!
