Holiday rentals with a patio in Big Lake

Exactly what I need for my night out in Anchorage! Great location.

We really enjoyed staying at Jacob’s place. It was a wonderful surprise that the place is so quiet and peaceful but also is close to everything. Jacob was very friendly and always quickly responded. We will definitely return in the future!

Peaceful and very little noise even though it’s an apartment in the lower level of the Host's house. The fresh eggs were a delicious treat along with the local coffee and tea provided. They also offer a few local items for purchase. This place is close to Hatchers pass which is fabulous for the outdoor enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

Quiet neighborhood. Teal had clear instructions. Would stay here again, and would recommend family and friends to stay here

Very clean place. We loved the large and comfortable couch in the living room. The beds are comfortable and the place was very home-like.

Great central spot to call home while you explore the surrounding area. Super clean, extremely comfy bed, all the comforts of home. Jonathan even had a small basket of snacks and coffee, which was a life saver since I landed late and didnt get to the store. Super detailed instructions and easy to get find. Kitchen has everything you need including a coffee maker, coffee and basic cooking needs like salt/pepper & olive oil. I even got to meet Jonathan, who was super friendly and nice. I didnt use the patio area but it was very inviting and lite up nice with yard lights at night. I would recommend this place if you need a homebase in Anchorage!

The carpet was a little old, but the rest of the apartment was great. And, frankly, having grown up in Anchorage l know how quickly carpet can age when people don't care and track all the way inside with dirty and wet boots. The site is centrally located in town, and very handy to downtown and everywhere else we were going. Right off of 15th/Debarr Rd it was a hop, skip and jump to anywhere we wanted to go to. Straight shot to the downtown area, to Muldoon, to Tudor and, most importantly, in the same neighborhood as Lucky Wishbone. An absolute must for great shakes, scrumptious fried chicken and burgers (so l've heard -always ate chicken!).

This Airbnb was very conveniently located, being adjacent to a great grocery store, very close to transit serving the airport/downtown, and additionally quite walkable (~10 mins) to downtown if you didn't want to wait for the bus. Check-in/check-out were easy: Annaliza was responsive and even let us check in a little early. The pots, tableware, appliances, and range were all very nice as well. One note, there were plug-in air fresheners and diffusers in the living spaces so something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to fragrances - but, there were also air filters in all of the rooms. Thanks for having us!

Mark and Kristen’s Bnb was perfect for our few nights in Anchorage. It was cozy, clean, quiet, and spacious! We loved it! And will definitely rent again if we need a place in Anchorage.

We arrived in Anchorage thinking we could stay like usual at our daughter's place. But found their home in a state of construction with no place for us to stay. Exhausted, and after a five-hour road trip - I sent a request to Cassandra to book her space. Within minutes, she responded and let me know that they needed a few minutes to get things ready. So get this; with no advance warning, Cassandra and her husband made it possible for us to have a four-day stay, and did so quite quickly. She also was very flexible to allow an extra night's stay when our trip was extended. Here place was spotless and exactly as described. Beds are awesome and the full kitchen has everything we needed. Much gratitude for this kind of grace! Thank you thank you... We highly recommend Cassandra as a host, and this airbnb to anyone who needs good rest and a great place to call a home away from home...

Great place for a small group! The beds are quiet comfortable. Getting out of the driveway wasn't too difficult this weekend. Having a smaller vehicle is ideal for this location. We enjoyed the backyard. It's fenced well enough that I felt comfortable letting my dog play on his own.

Great place to stay, not too far from hospitals or Ak airlines center. Definitely had the privacy although you are connected with their house. It has all the essentials in the kitchen to cook meals. Turning on the electric fireplace to set the ambiance and right temp of your liking during winter months was a bonus! As we have our own fire stove, this was home away from home. We were allowed to have a dinner with extended family and that was perfect! Thank you so much Nathalie!!!

This was one of our best airbnb experiences ever. Joy was a fantastic host. She really went above and beyond with the local tips and (multiple!) welcome baskets, and accommodating our schedule. Her place is super spacious and comfortable, we appreciated and enjoyed the wide selection of board games and the proximity to Kincaid Park. We can't wait to come back! 10/10 host, thank you!!

Kathleen's kitchen is completely remodeled and that was so helpful as we did cook dinners while staying at her home. She has a kitchen that a chef would appreciate! She also left snacks for us and when we did want to eat out--she provided great suggestions. This home is two story but you can spend most of the time upstairs if you wish as the two larger bedrooms, bath and kitchen are upstairs. The downstairs bedroom is spacious and so is the den that has a TV with surround sound. The bathroom downstairs is a smaller shower but plenty of hot water for both showers! She has books, games, maps, puzzles, and plenty of extras that make this home a place you can stay inside if the weather gets rough. Her front yard garden is lovely and she has plenty of space to sit outside or in her glass enclosed patio to enjoy the views. This was a comfortable place to stay and rest up!

Ben's cabin looks just as nice in person as it does in the pictures and has a nice cozy cabin feel to it. The traditional Alaskan decorations are super cool and I knew right when I arrived that I was going to enjoy staying there. Check in was real easy. Ben was communicative and gave his number in case I needed anything during my stay. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood and was within a short drive of pretty much anywhere you want to go in Anchorage. When work takes me back to Alaska I'll most definitely be looking Ben up again. I definitely reccomend staying here if you're looking for a place in Anchorage - I promise you'll like it! Thanks for a great stay Ben!

Rowena was very warm, flexible and responsive I requested an earlier check in and delayed check out because of my training schedule and she happily accommodated. This apartment felt like home. I am very particular about cleanliness and this home was impeccably clean. It was well stocked, and warmly decorated. It had a large, walkthrough master bedroom closet, and the master bed was luxuriously soft, while also supportive. The view of the mountains was a therapeutic start to my mornings and lovely to eat dinner and study with in the background. The garage was large enough to fit a large SUV. I loved this stay, and would return in the future!

The place was excellent in every way. Very clean, plenty of room, great neighborhood, awesome host, everything you want in a home away from home!
