The property was very beautiful with peacefull surroundings it was the same as shown in the picture, very clean & well organised, the host Santhosh sir was very responsive & friendly we all family felt like home , he took very good care of us like his own family members by providing complimentary breakfast n coffee, the food was also very delicious, mouth watering, yummy, we all enjoyed a lot , the property is very big where even group of 10 people can go & have a pleasant stay , next when I'm in Kerala I'm gonna book this again & also would suggest every body to go stay & feel like home .. thank you santhosh sir๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

A Rustic Escape with Breathtaking Views If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. Tucked in a remote village, it offers stunning views of the beach on one side and backwaters on the other. We were lucky enough to spot a dolphin in the sea, a highlight of our stay. The accommodation is rustic and simple, with no Wi-Fi or modern amenities, perfect for a digital detox. The food, homemade by Mr. Mohanan and his wife, Divya, was a treatโ€”each meal felt like a warm, local experience. Lt. Col. Sudhir was a fantastic host, offering great tips on local temples and hidden beaches weโ€™d never have found on our own. Itโ€™s a quiet, off-grid retreat where you can truly unwind and enjoy nature. If you're after peace, stunning views, and a chance to disconnect, I highly recommend this place.

We visited Serenity House in January 2023. My two friends and I had visited and from the booking request onwards the hosts Nilesh and Beena have been very helpful and responsive . We were given precise instructions and it was nice to meet Nilesh and Beena who helped us ease the check in. The house has a fully functional kitchen. The caretaker served us good breakfast and was always available for any help that we needed. You have a view of the backwaters and can hear the constant rumble of the sea. The beach is just 100 meters away and the sea.was quite calm. It's mostly an empty beach and it's stretching for many kilometres. Its a calm and silent island. Some restaurants are available a few kilometres away from the place or you can also go to Payannur town for more op pt options. Kayaking and backwater cruise is also available nearby for activities.

Our stay at this Airbnb was just what we needed.The sunrise view every morning was delightful and we could see the moon's clear reflection at night too.The birds chirping in the morning and returning to their nests in the evening added a nice touch to the atmosphere.The accommodation was simple but clean and comfortable. Additionally, the morning walks through the rubber plantations were a calm experience too. We had a pleasant overall experience and would recommend it for a peaceful getaway. The house and amenities are basic like the host already mentioned. You will find basic utensils for cooking if you donโ€™t mind, but better get items from nearest town, since there arenโ€™t any options near by. Great place to disconnect - which met our sole purpose of our visit. We hope to return soon!

The place was an absolute heaven. If you want a quite, peaceful, beautiful place for yourself, away from the city chaos, this is the place to go. The lake at your footsteps, cool morning breeze and a breathtaking view from the room makes your day even before it starts. The host is also friendly and helpful. Mare 4km from thrikaripur railway station.
