Holiday rentals with a pool in Beverino

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

A very well-kept structure with attention to detail! In addition to the complete cleaning. The directions were clear and the location is good for getting around by car between Liguria and Tuscany. Street parking in front of the entrance gate, quiet area with the charm of the river. The description of the structure is accurate, so the only thing I would point out is that it may not be very suitable for those who have problems climbing stairs, as it is arranged on three levels.

We had a very relaxing week at Casetta Paradiso. Fabulous weather, lovely spacious apartment with good outdoor seating from which to enjoy the view. The pool was an added bonus and lovely for cooling off in after a walk up from Recco. Highly recommended.

Our family holiday (4 people) in this place was an absolute dream and in reality even more impressive than in the photos. The entire property is spotlessly clean and exudes a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. For our children and us, the pool in front of the breathtaking mountain scenery was the daily highlight – a perfect place to unwind and enjoy. The location is fantastic for escaping everyday life and being active at the same time. We explored the area on several beautiful hiking tours. But what really makes the stay special are the hosts: Chris and Joanna are incredibly warm and helpful. Their hospitality is exceptional. We highly recommend this place.

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

Gorgeous pool (cold in May, but once we were in, it was great!) Great location, so peaceful. We drove into La Spezia because train strikes made the local station impractical, otherwise it would have been very handy. The cinque terre are really stunning. We also did a sunset cruise from La Spezia which was excellent. Fabios restaurant is 2 mins away - sadly we didn’t have time to go - next time! Initially we thought the house was a.little damp (the weather had been bad) but once we put the air con on heating this improved in no time ✅. (The listing suggests the apartment doesn’t have heating - it does. Plus very good air con when the weather improved!) Fabio and Simona were there when we asked a question and otherwise unobtrusive which was great. Basic kitchen facilities and equipment, but enough - we would go back!

Fabrizia is an amazing host. You feel comfortable in the house, and have a beautiful view from the bedrooms! The garden is fantastic, especially to cook comfortably and enjoy the evenings. Thanks a lot!

We loved our stay in Santa Margherita! Cosimo’s place was clean, spacious and quiet. It’s walkable without big luggage (5 minutes from the station, but up steep stairs!). We stayed with our 6 month baby and walked to the main city centre multiple times. Thank you for your lovely home- we would recommend this place to anyone travelling to the area!

Casper's house is a gem surrounded by nature. Perfect for relaxing, enjoying the view of the gulf, taking a dip in the pool or simply enjoying the garden. The kitchen is equipped with appliances, the fridge has an ice and water function so you won't need to buy it. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. Casper and Joke always responded quickly to meet our needs.

A great apartment in fab location. Carla was extremely helpful and responsive. Loved enjoying coffee and wine on the balcony. Pool opening times need to observed, they depend on the time of the year. Convenient parking. A lovely stay, would happily return.

Everything went smoothly for this stay! Ilaria took great care with us to prepare for our arrival, with the crib we had asked for, full of tips and recommendations to enjoy our stay, a great welcome. The space was perfectly aligned with the description and what we were paying attention to. It is a great solution for people wishing to visit the area by car. Cozy apartment with great terrace and pool from which you have a wonderful view of nature and the sea. The road to the apartment is adventurous, but passable. For this, the area is very quiet and nature is around the apartment. The hosts were super friendly and always available. I would definitely spend a second vacation here too!

An absolutely stunning place! Despite all the glowing reviews, they can’t fully capture the experience of staying here. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a luxurious estate. The grounds and pool are breathtaking, offering a serene and relaxing escape. If you're looking for peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of Lucca and Pisa, this is the perfect place to unwind. Divide & Laura we superb hosts. They responded promptly to all messages and requests. Laura was really friendly, she met us at the property and explained everything. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, whilst its small they have used the space in a really clever way and there is everything you need, The pool looked lovely but we didn’t use it, The views are fantastic and once you have parked your car everything is in walking distance, we loved our stay and will be back. We loved everything there! Ivana, Alan and the people in the village were just welcoming and open minded. We slept in the comfortable apartment on the ground floor. The apartement contains everything you need, has several sleeping arrangements and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. All was clean and comfortable. The view up to the castle is calming and a good reason for a short walk. Ivana knows a lot about the area, the history of Lunigiana and answers all your questions gladly. Breakfast and dinner is local, handmade and really tasty in a cosy atmospere. If you are looking for a place to calm down, feel welcome and enjoy nature its a perfect place we can fully recommed (dogs are also welcome).

Beautiful pool and garden

We really had a wonderful stay. The host welcomed us incredibly warmly and immediately recorded an entire plan for things to do and hidden gems. The kitchen is really WELL equipped. The only small drawback, the mattresses are unfortunately very saggy and you should ventilate a lot, as it is very humid in the lower room due to the shower. Still, this place is HIGHLY recommended !! It was great

This is an amazing villa with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The villa really has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The closest shops are only a 10-15 minute drive away from the villa. I would definitely return.

Fantastic accommodation in a fantastic location.

The place is truly a rustic paradise! It’s placed in what seems like the crater of an old volcano, high up in the clouds at above 900m so you’re in something as peaceful as highest up on a mountain, but still protective ”walls” of stone all around! Lots of wildlife around (in our case we also got a bit of an ant invasion in one of the barhrooms) and the only thing to keep in mind is that the distance will be slightly longer than Google Maps will tell you since you likely don’t want to drive like a race car up and down the mountain side. Both kids and grown ups completely loved the place!

We came with a group of friends for the weekend: the house and garden are very nice, beautiful views, surrounded by greenery. We had a great time, the host was kind and helpful! We will gladly return to Garfagnana

We had a wonderful time at La Chiazza. It is a beautiful place. The outside was particularly good with multiple seating areas, plenty of loungers, pool towels and deckchairs. The pool was great although a little cold at first. We enjoyed playing table tennis and pool. The drive to the property is not for the faint of heart. Get a narrow car, preferably automatic. We did have an issue with drainage smell after heavy rain but it did go once it dried up. Both Emma and the owner were very attentive.

A good place to rest easy. Far from tourist traffic. Only local people, local eateries in neighboring villages. Minus or plus far to main roads, lots of serpentines. You definitely need to stock the nearest store about 15 minutes by car. Super pool - clean, well-maintained, and I recommend this place.
