Perfect base for climbing Snowdon!
This comfortable, updated stone-built cottage is the ideal base for an adventurous break in the Snowdonia National Park. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles,beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.

Character cottage in the heart of Snowdonia. Waunfawr is in a valley between Caernarfon and Beddgelert and is close to the sea and mountains including Snowdon. From the garden the mountain views are spectacular. You can sit out in the evenings around the fire pit and enjoy the birds singing and the sheep baaing! The area offers opportunities for walking, climbing, sailing, scuba diving, and the world’s fastest Zip wire 30 mins away! Famous too for its medieval castles- eg Caernarfon castle etc

The Barn at Tan Y Rhiw nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with spectacular views of Moel Ddu. A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Traditional Welsh Stone Cottage in the heart of Llanberis Pass. Located within the picturesque village of Nant Peris, Terfyn is a 100m from the Snowdon long stay car park that has regular buses to Pen-y-Pass car park for hikers wanting to climb Yr Wyddfa. It is also a 300m walk to Vaynol Arms pub, where you can pop in for a well deserved traditional pub dinner and drink after a long climb. Terfyn Cottage is the perfect location to enjoy everything Snowdonia National Park has to offer.
