A great place to stay and Renate was always attentive and available in case we needed anything. We'll be back for sure.

It is an apartment where nothing is missing. Bright, spacious, clean and well equipped. You have a separate entrance and after the key handover you come and go as you please. In the unlikely event that you want to use the kitchen: everything is abundantly available.

I am really thrilled, everything was 100 percent right. A nice little apartment in a nice house. Very quiet and just perfect for me. I can recommend this apartment.

The communication in advance was already very pleasant and friendly. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and accompanied to the accommodation. The accommodation was absolutely wonderful, clean, tidy, modern and very well equipped with everything you need. The location and the place were also very idyllic and we had a great stay! We hope that we were equally pleasant guests and will definitely come back!

We spent two and a half months in the apartment as we had to move out of our own home due to water damage. Anikka and Bernd were consistently warm, helpful and always responsive – just the best you could ask for! We felt very comfortable and would recommend the accommodation at any time.

My parents, who stayed for two nights in the beautiful apartment, liked the stay very much. She would book the apartment again at any time to explore Xanten and the surrounding area. They particularly liked the location, the cleanliness and the cosy furnishings. The contact with the hosts was very reliable and friendly.

Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm manner. The accommodation is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in every corner. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, exceptional and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area, watching the cats and ducks and listening to the pouring rain. Lake Baldeney is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. I had a fantastic stay! The house was super clean, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and always available to help. The energy of the place was very positive, making it a really enjoyable experience. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The location was amazing, with beautiful views and a peaceful, green surrounding—such a lovely and refreshing spot. The house had everything I needed, fully equipped and comfortable. I was extremely satisfied with my stay, and if I ever visit this city again, I will definitely stay here again!

The stay is picture perfect, with a great view of the old town. It even has a cute little balcony where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset in the evening. The apartment itself is really nice and cozy, and has all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I would recommend this place to couples, siblings or solo travellers.

Super great place to stay that is even better than it looks in the pictures. The apartment has a great location, very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but you can still get to Xanten or Sonnsbeck quickly. This quiet location is ideal for a few relaxing days and especially if you want to have a quiet New Year's Eve with your dog. Peter and Hella are also super nice hosts! This place can only be recommended!

The apartment is perfect for two adults and two children and we felt very comfortable. We will be happy to come back if we are in the area again.

We were only away for one night, but found a superbly equipped, modern and very clean accommodation. Restaurants are within walking distance in the evening. Absolutely recommended.

We rode our bicycles on the Rhine cycle route to Anneclaer and Michael's place just outside the old town. We stored the bikes securely in the yard. The apartment was spotless, well appointed, a short walk to the supermarket and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

We as friends of Brigitte's daughter and Rob, really enjoyed staying with them. It was lovely and a beautiful area. The Apartment was great! Enjoyed a day at the pool and well closed with a cozy BBQ on the water! Brigitte & Rob are super friendly and cozy helpful people to stay with. We will definitely be back!

The place is quite compact, but it has everything you need. Is well suited for a short trip and for relaxation.

A very large and super-equipped apartment in a good location with two very special highlights: a whirlpool - and a private cinema with four comfortable armchairs, Netflix access, a large screen and great sound. The location is also great: in a few minutes' walk you can reach the nearest subway station and a shopping centre, yet it is very quiet. I was there by bike, and the apartment was the perfect starting point for trips to the Zollverein mine, the Nordsternpark in Gelsenkirchen and other interesting places. Communication with Lucas was great, fast response times and help with queries/problems at all times. If I am drawn back to the area, I would like to stay here again as a guest!

We felt very comfortable with Christian and his family. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we were more than adequately supplied with coffee and if something is missing, Christian is immediately on the spot. The hot tub is a real hit, everything is lovingly furnished and clean. We will definitely be back.

The apartment is mega! Everything is very clean, the facilities are great! Everything you need! I only had to take half of my things from home, because everything was available. Whether in the kitchen or the bathroom. We don't need to talk about the bathroom. It's pure luxury. You can always find a parking spot nearby. It's quiet. Nice neighbours. Public transport is nearby. You can get anywhere fast. And there are also shopping facilities nearby. Dirk was very nice and always available. Everything wonderful.
