Here you have lake Saljen close by (2km) where you can swim and fish. There are several walking trails directly from the house. In the beautiful garden we have a fire pit for grill evenings. From spring we will rent out our canoe. Go skiing, visit Astrid Lindgren park, visit a moose park or go down the zippline.

18th century Twin Cottage

The Twin Cottage from the 18th century is situated in a small hamlet with grazing animals and foot paths in the surrounding forest and fields. We have 45 km to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren’s world. The area of ‘Bråbygden’ is known for it rich flora and well kept fields. Bråhultesjön, 6 km from us, is a nice lake for bathing. Twin Cottage is like old times attatched house. We live in one part of the house and you rent the other. The garden is a fine place to enjoy evenings. Warmly welcome!

The perfect starting point to explore Småland, Öland and the glass kingdom. Our house is located in the middle of the forest and yet only 3 km from the small town of Högsby, where you will find all the things you need every day.
