Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Benzie County

We had a fantastic stay! The location couldn’t have been better – just a short walk to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. It made exploring the area, super convenient and enjoyable. The place was clean, comfortable and exactly as described.

We rented this for a winter getaway. The home was lovely and our family of 8 had a wonderful time. Playing ping-pong and other games, enjoying the fire place and having plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together were some of our favorite inside activities. Being so close to trails meant we found lots of opportunities to be outside, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This rental was perfect for a large family to stay, as it sleeps 12 (including futon and couch). It was perfect for our large group attending graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy which is just 14 minutes away. The kitchen was well appointed and the house was light filled and comfortable. The views of the horses was my favorite part. The front porch was peaceful and we had an amazing time. Fire pit was nice, but we didn’t use it. Plenty of parking available. This is a great place, as long as you realize you are far from any major towns (30 mins to Traverse City). It was peaceful, clean, and perfect for us!

Great place to stay, close to Crystal mountain. Very close to at least 8 golf courses. Clean place, great for friends and family trip. It is in town and close to neighbors but overall a great place, and great host

We had a wonderful stay. This house was well equipped in the kitchen, baths and bedrooms with quality, newer, matching pans/utensils, towels and bedding. Plenty of paper products as well. Lots of space for 7 adults, including a very comfortable living room (2nd on lower level) and beautiful deck with plenty of seating and even a Solo wood stove!

Whole house and plenty of space for 4 dudes and all their cycling gear. Close to the start and finish line of the Benzie bike tour. Great place to prep and relax after a 62 mile bike ride. Great price and I like that we didn’t have to strip the linens and start the laundry before we left. Thanks and would definitely stay again if I do the bike ride again!

My friend and I would absolutely stay at Cathrine’s place again! Perfect location in walkable distance to restaurants, coffee, and Betsie Lake. The place was very clean and welcoming, and was the perfect amount of space. Also loved having the view from the upper unit!

Beautiful place and location! Especially the morning in front of the lake was peaceful!!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

Abby's place was beautiful and so peaceful! We were only 10 mins from everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be back when we need another little getaway!

Jake’s hotel was clean and tidy. Great location! Jake was responded quickly with late night questions, and accommodated our needs in last minute travel plans. 10 out of 10 would book again!

Booked this AirBnB for a weekend ski trip up north. The check-in was very flexible which was nice because we wanted to ski on check in day. The house was very cozy and inviting. Very clean and taken care of. It offered a lot more room than I expected. The hot tub was spectacular, very hot and the jets are wonderful. Check out was super accommodating as well and the host was very responsive to questions. Only trouble we had was that the furnace has some trouble keeping the house warm during a blizzard. Having the garage was super nice during the blizzard though. It seemed like during our stay most of the neighborhood wasn’t there so it was very quiet and peaceful. Seems like a neighborhood with a lot of summer homes. If you’re going in the winter be sure to take a car with AWD because the roads were pretty difficult to drive on in my tiny sedan. Not the BnB’s fault, but just a warning.

It was a very nice place. Clean, and peaceful in a very rural setting. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City. My wife and I would definitely stay here again

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always great. Perfect location for getting to Camp Lookout! Parents when you drop off your camper this is a perfect place to come spend a couple of nights.

Denise and Don have created a beautiful place for guests to feel both on vacation but right at home. This is our second stay and won't be our last. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable, stylish and super clean with everything you might need. The views from every window are stunning. There are endless activities of which you can take part (hot tub, billiards, ping pong, pickle ball, paddleboarding, kayaking, sunbathing, biking or walking the Betsie Trail...and that's just right outside your door). Denise made delicious breakfasts for us a couple mornings which was a wonderful treat. Riding on Don's pontoon boat is always a highlight and we loved visiting with both Denise and Don and their furbabies. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Our stay at this charming cabin in Benzonia was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a true gem. The highlight was undoubtedly the private lake right in the backyard. It was incredibly well-maintained and offered a serene and picturesque setting for a truly quiet getaway. We spent hours enjoying the peaceful views and the sense of seclusion it provided. The cabin itself was impeccably clean and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home, allowing us to relax and unwind without a single worry. A special shout-out to the hosts, who were simply the sweetest and most helpful individuals. Their warmth and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, testament to their thoughtful organization. Loved the house. Plenty of space. Clean. Soft bed, hot water. Loved the river behind the house, the dogs loved watching the fish as well. It wasn’t as private as I thought, there is a neighbor right next door, and one down the street, and one currently being built across the street but down a little. But the neighbor is nice and keeps to himself. Personally I thought it was going to be a little more private, but that would be my biggest complaint. I would definitely stay again. It was close to everywhere we needed to go, but far enough out of the big towns that it felt private. Definitely recommend the hot turkey sandwich at the Cherry Hut. Good food at Dilbert’s cafe and platte river as well. Hiking is great at sleeping bear dunes, and if you have time, check out Traverse City nature center, they have a hiking system and it’s got some great trails. Some great shopping in downtown traverse city as well and Glen arbor. House is easy to find and would def stay again if in the area!!

House is stunning I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It’s the perfect stay, quiet and private. Good for any function. Host Rebecca was super polite and responsive to all of my questions! 5 stars every day of the week!

My wife and I came here for a couple days with our dog. The place was just what we were looking for to relax, unwind, and just enjoy a few days of peace to reset. Beautiful area, away from the distractions of life, and the campfire area was absolutely amazing. Our dog loved having a ton of space to roam and run. Amazing host and an amazing place!

Isla Fern is a hidden gem! We had the best time making memories in this thoughtfully designed space. There were many great amenities that you wouldn’t find in most rentals. We appreciated how dog friendly, and kid friendly the rental was. Check in and communication was seamless. I would highly suggest Isla Fern for your getaway!

Ashel’s place was exactly as described. She was a wonderful host- so friendly, helpful and hospitable! The beauty that surrounds her cabin is truly a peaceful respite from everyday stress. Very quiet and relaxing!
