We live on the Betsie Valley bike trail and have bikes available to use for free. We are 20 minutes feom Crystal Mountain for snowboarders and Skiers. We have snow shoes to borrow for winter beauty on the frozen Crystal lake. Perfect for families, couples or a group of friends. Our only rule is to ENJOY the beauty of Northern Michigan!

We wash all bedding and towels with Lysol laundry soap. We clean all bathrooms and kitchens with Lysol. We also spray all remotes, light switches and door handles, to ensure all surfaces are clean and germ free.

This is a great place. We enjoyed the stay very much. The house is on the expensive side but does provide great value and the team a perfect service. Outstanding as far as we go. One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. One small downside is the resort the house is a part of. That is not as explicit in the add. The resort as such is also great unless you share it as one family with a huge group that has its downside. As long as there is a mix of people everything is great.

We enjoyed Zelda's rental a lot. The Hot Tub, the Fire Pit, the Screen Porch, the river kayak trip were great. As always a few minor things needed to be corrected and Zelda responded quickly. In summary, we want to return as the area as it is beautiful and her home is very convenient to all the local towns, etc.

Awesome place to stay! We had a group of 8 there to play at Arcadia Bluffs, which was only a 20 minute drive away. The house was in a nice quiet location. Plenty of parking for our cars. House was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. The large dining table was great for playing board games (which they had a large selection of). Host was very responsive as well. The only wish I had was if the TV in the living room was larger. Nonetheless, we would definitely return if we decide to challenge the course record. Thanks!

Cozy Up-North Michigan Lake House with Hot Tub

We so enjoyed our family trip here! It felt like a tree house upstairs looking out to trees and the lake. It was a cozy family room area. We had a great time kayaking in big Sanford lake. It was so peaceful on the weekdays we were there. Sometimes we were the only kayakers. It was close to Traverse City and we checked out Frankfort and Crystal Mountain too. Overall would recommend!

One of a kind vintage cottage on Big Platte Lake

The cottage was exactly as pictured. It looks like it’s out of a magazine and it was spotlessly clean. AC was ice cold which was necessary during a hot and humid July stretch. Everything was top notch and the lake is amazing - crystal clear and almost completely empty of boat traffic Sunday late afternoon through Thursday night. The included kayaks and paddle boards were a huge plus and the dock was big enough to tie up our rented tritoon. Outdoor space was ample. The neighbors are quite close and look to be elderly owner-occupied, so loud late night bonfire seekers should look elsewhere. Not much luck fishing off the dock, but elsewhere in the lake we caught plenty of fish.

We had a GREAT weekend at Trout Lily Cabin! Close to skiing at Crystal Mountain! Beautiful private setting in the woods! Cozy home that looked just as described and pictured! The furniture and bed were very comfortable! Vacasa was great to communicate with! I highly recommend renting this property! We look forward to coming back to the Trout Lily Cabin! Thank you!
