Gaetano was very kind and always available to give directions. We booked the studio with a garden to do the Easter egg search, a Nordic tradition, and of course we also used the garden for an afternoon aperitif. The sound of the river is constant. The street is just below, but the house is high enough for you to ignore. Nearby you can walk to Bagni di Lucca, which is like a forgotten village, surrounded by water and paths - the bridges of that entire area are very interesting. I found the price very convenient: the studio had full equipment. Thanks to Gaetano and see you soon!

We spent a few days with Silveno and Fulvia who welcomed us as if we were family and we had answers to all our requests or questions almost within an hour! It's a magical, quiet place to recharge. We were able to visit Lucca , Pisa and Florence very easily while finding our haven in the evening! And the swimming in Lima is refreshing and refreshing in August! There is also a municipal swimming pool in Bagni di Lucca alfresco very nice (you need a bath cap!) We only had time to do a short hike but it makes you want to come back and do more! Thank you for hosting our dog who was able to enjoy the freshness of the house. Benabbio is a delightful and lively summer village with a welcoming restaurant and good wood-fired pizzas. Casa Caterina is a magical & mystical time capsule, you will feel enriched by the views and its walls. It will have everything you need to lead a simple, wholesome life while there. The host Caterina couldn’t have been more helpful, recommending her friends’ beautiful restaurant (Buca di Baldabo) as well helping us get the stove going after a glass of wine when we couldn’t understand the screen’s language. You will leave feeling revived and whole, an incredible place! Thank you so much!
