It is close to excellent food, but it is a residential street. Close to the Duque de Caxias square (where various cultural events take place), the iconic " Clube da Esquina" , Santa Teresa metro station, also to Estádio do Independência and Shopping Boulevard. My family used to live in this house in the '60s. They moved just after I was born. Now that I own the place I decided to recreate what I remember from my childhood. Some of the furniture is original: the beds from the singles room, the dinner table, the sewing machine. I've also included some modern equipment: the mattresses, a SmarTV, an espresso machine. The house is in a neighborhood just a few minutes from downtown. However, it has an atmosphere from a Brazilian city from the '50s.

Living room has fan, 40-inch TV, open-plan kitchen, balcony with table & chairs with view of mountains. Kitchen has fridge, stove, microwave. Laundry area has washing machine. Car park for medium-size vehicles only due to a difficult to navigate ramp for taller, wider cars. Apartment is on a quiet, tree-lined street.
