Beachfront holiday rental in Bellochantuy

What a wonderful 5 nights we've just spent at Ballochroy Cottage, I just wish we were staying for longer! The views are simply spectacular and breakfast on the shore was a definite highlight of our stay. The cottage is extremely comfortable, with everything we needed. The bedroom is a very relaxing space with such a comfy bed, bedlinen and duvet that I'm going to get the same for home. The bathroom is a good size with a great shower. We loved coming back to the log burning stove in the evenings. For everything we wanted to do and see, the location was perfect. Karen and Colin were on hand if needed and were really helpful and friendly. We must recommend visiting Gigha and eating at The Boathouse. On a clear day there are stunning views to be had from the top of the highest point on the island. Behind the cottage are 3 standing stones we enjoyed walking to before breakfast one day. There are lots of places of historical interest to see and great spots for wildlife spotting. Fabulous!

This was the most incredibly beautiful property in a stunning location. Pier Cottage is so private and peaceful with views over Loch Striven where you can sit and relax whilst watching the array of wildlife around you or take the kayak out on the loch. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well appointment with everything you would need for you stay. If you are looking for somewhere to unplug from the world and completely relax - this is the ideal place.

Stunning location opposite distillery, 2 mins walk from beach and town centre. The burn running through the back runs under the road to the distillery. Former cooperman's house, still in same family. Very comfortable & peaceful. Loved it.

We had a lovely stay at Jo’s apartment. The views are breathtaking! We felt right at home here, with everything we needed. This was the perfect location to explore the Antrim coast. We really enjoyed hiking in Glenariff Forest as well! Jo was very communicative and helpful, great host! Plenty of parking. Having access to laundry was a lifesaver! The owner lives right next door - we did hear them moving around sometimes, but it didn’t bother us! The town of Cushendall is very cute and easily walkable by foot with a nice sidewalk the entire way. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk. Felt safe at night too, it’s lit up the whole way. We loved the restaurant Harry’s - delicious food and pint of Guinness. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!!

We had a great stay. The flat is beautiful inside and out. Ari and Annika were super responsive to questions and kept us up to date with check in times, and managed to get us in a bit earlier. Lamlash is the perfect location to explore the island, and our dog loved having such close access to the beach! We would definitely recommend, the flat was the perfect base for our wee Arran holiday.

A great wee flat to explore the surrounding region from. Also appreciated that the stuff we were likely to forget (milk, bread, butter, etc) were all in the kitchen!

Beautiful cottage right in the heart of Port Ellen. very comfortable and homely, with everything we needed. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. Anne was a great host, very responsive to messages and arranged for us to get access early to have our bags, so that we could go out and enjoy our first day on the island, having arrived on early morning flight. she messaged to check we'd got in ok and see whether we needed anything. Can't fault it - would stay again.

The house is light, airy and spacious, and the back garden leads right onto the shore of the firth. There are great walks along the shore and on the peninsula, where you can also launch boats, boards etc. If you value peace, tranquillity and being outdoors, this is the ideal place to be. Donny was a great host: welcoming and knowledgeable. There is a community shop and really good restaurant (the Osborne) in nearby Ennellen. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place to base ourselves for three nights whilst exploring the island. Great walks out to the three distilleries and in the best spot for getting to nearby restaurants and pubs. I would 100% recommend staying here!

We stopped over for a night on a short tour of Arran. The property is quaint, clean and comfortable and is located right on the seafront. It's highly recommended for couples and is only 15 minutes drive from the ferry. One word of warning though; watch your head on the low beam over the bed - my wife still has a bump from banging her head when getting up in the morning!

This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

The accommodation is perfect: very neat, clean, spacious and equipped with a secure parking space. Michael was a great host. He provided clear instruction on how to use the accommodation and so it was easy to stay.

We had a wonderful time in Jill's accommodation! We immediately felt at home and Jill and Simon are very friendly and warm people. The apartment is also very comfortably furnished. We would love to come back.

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

Fantastic location, amazing house with a bathroom for each room, and a great location - what more could you ask for?

This accommodation was perfect for our mixed family, with 3 large double en-suite bedrooms and 2 twin/doubles with bathroom. We loved the upside down living with great views of the Kyles of Bute and across the water to Bute. The location was fabulous with the pub/ hotel just next door (no noise issues at all) with a warm welcome lovely atmosphere and fantastic food, lovely walks from the doorstep, including across the ferry. There is so much to do in the area we wished we had a second week. Our 2 and 5 year olds loved it. The real unexpected bonus was being able to charge our EV at the village hall just a few steps away. Perfect location and wonderful accommodation.

We stayed as an extended family for 5 nights and we loved everything about the house and the location. We were very lucky with the weather so spent time outside in all the seating areas in the garden surrounded by wild areas full of birds and butterflies. We spent time on the beach and the children loved it.

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

Stayed here for the weekend with all our family to celebrate a graduation and the place was just perfect. The hot tub was amazing, a bbq was provided. The rooms were so clean and each had a bathroom which was great for privacy. The little details that Justin and Rae added made the stay so special - there was little boxes in each room with water and snacks, the bathrooms stocked with shampoos etc, and they even supplied us toys for the kids. To top it all off they even decorated the house for my partners graduation with balloons and banners! Would 100% recommend this stay for any family gathering - thanks Justin and Rae!

We are just back from a few days over new year! Beautiful home with amazing views and surroundings! Greig was so helpful and checked in to make sure everything was great. House was perfect! The sauna and hot tub were fantastic! Would recommend to everyone!
