Although in the middle of the countryside of Alentejo, the access is easy accessible for all cars. Sao Luis, the charming village nearby (5 km), you can find markets, restaurants and other services. It is 20min drive to the beaches of Vila nova de Milfontes

Eclectic Monte Laginha @ Alentejo (Surf & Beach)

Our home is an agricultural cottage renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

As it's an extremely quiet spot, the wifi network isn't very powerful, but it works (a good opportunity to get away from stress!). Ideal for nature lovers, you'll be dazzled by the sunrises and sunsets, by the landscapes and by the animals that are sure to visit you (golden eagles, hares, foxes, mongooses and all kinds of birds...).

With a unique location, Porto Covo 47 is located in the village of Porto Covo, facing the sea. It is a project by architect João Favila Menezes - Atelier Bugio. Note: in the summer, reservations are for 7 nights, with arrivals and departures on Saturdays.
