The Paradise Cove is a slice of heaven. Private, quiet, and clean. I intend to stay there again!

Zachary was personable and friendly from the start….even funny. I asked about an early check-in and he accommodated my request without a fee. When looking for an ideal stay, I’m always hoping that I’ll find the kind of hospitable and charming person on the other end that I can whole-heartedly recommend to others. His care and concern comes across in the space: thoughtful, clean, serene, and relaxing. I needed a space that lends toward healing as work. This space can meet many needs for both the spirit and body (since the hot tub is a cure-all!). We saw deer and were delighted with all the moss! Looking to return soon!

Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

Place was great. It is a perfect spot for a quiet romantic getaway, very private and relaxing. I do recommend making sure you bring everything you need, grocery/drug stores are about thirty minutes away, but that is a small price to pay for the privacy/peace/quiet that you will get. There are hiking spots galore within a 15-20 minute drive. Not much else I can add. I give it five stars and would highly recommend.

The location for our visits to this area is perfect. Close to family and friends who live in the area yet secluded enough for us to still feel like we are getting away. The house had all we needed for a couple of days. The creek and hot tub are so nice.

We were overly pleased with our stay! The home is stunning, exactly what I expected! The house looked exactly like the pictures except there are a few new renovations added, like the fridge is updated to a bigger silver one and there is a new washer and dryer! The location is very secluded, which is exactly what we wanted for our getaway trip. Check in was super simple as you don’t even need to “check in” just apply a code given by the host! The hot tub and jets were great with lots of different light choices! The yard is completely fenced so both of our medium sized dogs were able to run around and LOVED it! The deck is large and beautiful! Exactly as described in the description! I would definitely like to book again in the future!

Our family had the best time. This trip was one of, if not the best vacations we have ever had. That is in large part thanks to our hosts and their beautiful home! We enjoyed every minute, from booking to checkout. We would visit here again.

Perfect place! Felt right at home. Beautiful and comfortable home with a fantastic fenced in backyard for the dogs. Located in a scenic, safe neighborhood that was very close to great restaurants, grocery stores, shops and parks. Host was super responsive and friendly. Loved everything about our stay. It's a beautiful spot, a quiant, older style house in a peaceful area. The host was very communicative and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns quickly, and remedied an issue he couldnt have anticipated expediently. The house was clean, homey, comfortable, and well-stocked with the things we needed. My favorite part was the back porch in the mornings! I will definitely add this property to my favorites and be back to visit.

Wonderful town this little mountain town, Banner Elk. The Elk Cottage at the Azelea Inn was the perfect place to stay. It’s clean, comfortable and close to great restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. Highly recommend!

Our first ABNB experience and Bill made everything easy. House was perfect for us. We are in our 50s and traveled with my 75yr old mom and too small pups. The house is amazing, clean, quiet area off the main rd. Exactly what we wanted. We will definitely return as my kids and grandkids live up here. Perfect host!

Wonderful stay in this charming cabin. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was very clean upon arrival. Loved sitting on the front porch amongst the trees enjoying the cool mountain air and hearing the birds chirping while enjoying a cup of coffee. The location cannot be beat. Very easy access to everything Boone and Blowing Rock have to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and a very nice Place. The boys loved playing in the creek and listening to it at night as they fell asleep! Would recommend this location to anyone!

Went to enjoy the river and relax. It met all expectations. It’s a peaceful place right on the river. A lot of wildlife in the area…deer, wild turkey, hawks, geese, ducks, fireflies. Very easy access for fishing and the river has plenty of trout. Adjacent to laurel creek waterfalls which was a simple hike and good swimming holes. Very clean and welcoming and had all the amenities we needed. Didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay there again.

So charming and close to all the things we needed to attend yet we felt as though we were secluded enough to enjoy a private little weekend.

Just book it now! This home is the cleanest, most beautifully decorated place we’ve ever rented. The location is perfectly located in Boone and near Blowing Rock. Amber added welcoming touches, and the home has was surprise after another. The beautiful sunrise and sunsets, the phenomenal fireplace, the cozy sofa, the beautiful windows-all of it made me not want to leave. Restaurants are two minutes down Snaggy Mountain. The road to the house is a typical mountain road-not long but a bit curvy. No issues there, but someone complained in another review that the mountain road had curves. The house has a ramp to enter and an easy enter shower for anyone with mobility issues. There is a coffee station stocked with fresh creamer, etc. There is a wrap around deck and chairs for easy porch sitting. The neighborhood is quiet. The owners live nearby if you need them. It is private enough to be refreshing but close to town for amenities-restaurants, skiing, and APP tours. We will return

My partner and I stay here a couple of times a year and love it every time! Please do not allow the scary news around the hurricane to deter you from staying in this beautiful location and supporting such a wonderful community. It is very clear how much work has gone into rebuilding - the cottage is easily accessible by car, and all the attractions of Boone are open. This cabin is our favorite getaway, and every time we stay we never want to leave!

Perfect for our girls weekend away from it all. Comfortable and tidy but still full of character and unique location right on the creek. Highly recommend!

Home was clean and welcoming, fell in love with the kitchen. Susan was responsive and kind. The location was gorgeous and peaceful. A perfect place to clear your mind and decompress.
