We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

The home was spacious, clean and spotless. Located very close to everything in Bayeux. It was nice and private. Elizabeth was always a great host. Exactly what we were looking for. My mother accidentally broke one of the ornaments in the home (We left cash to replace) and Elizabeth seem to take it very graciously, considering it was an inconvenience. Which was a relief.

If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

This location was so beautiful. The house was well equipped with everything you could need. Isabelle and Bernard were great hosts and made us feel quite welcome. The location of their home and the beautiful city of Bayeux were like a scene from a Hallmark movie. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. I highly recommend this trip and this home!

We loved Chantal’s place. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal, who provided us with a tour of her place and helped us get settled. The place felt brand new, everything was pristinely clean. Interior is beautifully decorated and everything was perfect. Chantal went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed - with a yummy cider waiting chilled for us, and plenty of tea and coffee. There was also all the amenities available (toilet paper; towels; dishwashing detergent etc). Chantal has very cute puppies and she allowed my son to play with them. We would love to stay again and will - but next time we will stay longer. Highly recommend Chantal’s place.

We loved staying here! The host was very friendly and accommodating. The place was perfect and the location was ideal. It was walkable to everything within central Bayeux. Would definitely consider staying there again if in the area.

We stayed at Mourad’s studio flat for 4 nights whilst visiting Bayeux. The location was 10/10, very central to everything - cathedral, bars, restaurants, tapestry etc. Check in was extremely easy and stress free with the host responding immediately to any questions. The flat itself has a sofa bed and is well equipped with everything you would need. Most things in the flat look brand new! We would highly recommend this flat to couples visiting Bayeux wanting to be in the heart of the centre. Thank you so much for having us Mourad :)

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

A charming and lovely place with a ton of character, perfectly located in Bayeux whether you are staying locally or visiting WWII sites which are easy to access from Bayeux. Laurence is a fabulous host - friendly, quick to respond to questions and his accommodations exceeded our expectations: well supplied, comfortable beds, super clean, and close to restaurants, a small grocery store, other shopping, and all of the sites in Bayeux (tapestry, etc). My only regret is we weren't able to stay even longer. If we visit Bayeux again, part of our motivation will come from the true enjoyment of staying at Laurence's duplex.

Our family of three loved staying here; the apartment was elegant, comfortable and well-situated. You enter via a courtyard that is shared with the local Italian restaurant. There are potentially three locked doors between you and the 2nd floor apartment, but the keys are all conveniently color coded. You enter into the combined living/dining/kitchen area with an impressive view of the cathedral. Bedrooms and bathroom open off both sides. The master bedroom is HUGE and has a king size bed. The kitchen is small but can accommodate full meal cooking. There are two supermarkets within five minutes walk and an E Leclerc five minutes away by car. Free parking in the vicinity was never a problem, but it is a good idea to take a look at the parking map the host includes as part of check-in because certain spots are limited to four hours during business hours. Host was very responsive when we had questions. We would rebook this place without hesitation.

Great space to use as a base to explore the coast. I appreciated that it was central to Bayeaux without being right in the middle of everything but all shops and restaurants were a 5-10 minute walk away.

We loved staying at the apartment. Just a few minutes walk from the centre attractionsand restaurants. Free parking close by. Quiet, very clean, everything we needed for our stay. Although not large plenty big enough for a couple. Super shower room. 10 out of 10.

We had a great weekend at Frédéric's, the apartment is modern, well laid out, well stocked, nothing was missing! And what about the exceptional location with this balcony and its sea view. All this just a stone's throw from the centre. Frédéric always responded very quickly and was very accommodating. We were greeted by Michel on arrival who was very welcoming. We'll be happy to go back!

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, we immediately noticed a very pleasant scent and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was ready under the stairs in the entrance area, which we appreciated very much, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly colour-coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. We are already looking forward to our next stay there. Thank you❤, Anne!

We had an exceptional stay, the apartment was impeccable, the residence secure and close to the beach and restaurants; Olivier was very attentive and recommended activities in Villers that we really enjoyed. I recommend it without hesitating!

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

The accommodation offered by David is tip top! Calm, breathtaking sea views, sunset from the "veranda terrace", a location 20 minutes from Caen that allows you to enjoy the city, the countryside and the seaside! What else can I say? An available host, and finally, a nice decor that adds charm to this romantic weekend on the beaches of Normandy! You can rent with your eyes closed!
