Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bay View, Milwaukee

Very cozy and comfortable. Great king-size mattress. Very quiet neighborhood and building, and Bayview is a funky, cool place. (Check out Honey Pie Cafe, a short walk away.) Parking was easy, but be sure to go online to learn about Milwaukee's weird night parking permit rules. As the description notes, the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs, so if you are older or have bad knees, pay attention! The only negatives are things that can be easily addressed -- we had to buy some tissues and coffee / filters. (Left plenty of filters behind!) A cutting board and. sharp knife would be nice. Host was immediately responsive to a note about exterior door lock getting loose.

What a great place to stay! Extremely clean, well decorated. Super comfy furnishings and the bed was VERY comfortable with quality pillows! Thanks so much! While it was my first stab, it certainly won't be my last!

Carlos is the best. Our flight arrived earlier than expected and he was able to get us checked in early. It’s a utility space, not a luxury space and it more than got the job done. Some small preferences that I would’ve changed but they’re ultimately nit picks. Only real struggle was the bed was too squishy for my preference which made it hard to catch more than a few hours of sleep, but I think a lot of folks will love that style, just not for me. Would definitely come back. There was so much space and grass. Close enough to everything MKE to get enough done, far enough to make a scooter adventure. If you need a place to hold your bags while you tackle the city, this is your spot.

Ryan’s place was super nice and very well located near multiple locations you could need. It was extremely clean inside and felt comfortable, well maintained and had a good vibe inside. Quiet neighborhood and surrounding area as well. Ryan was a great host, very helpful at all times with anything needed and gave local/favorite restaurants suggestions. Very communicative and responsive and would absolutely stay again and recommend if you’re in the area!

Nina's place is so charming and peaceful. A wonderful retreat with a park nearby, great restaurants, and just minutes from downtown Milwaukee. I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area!

This house was conveniently located and easy to access. The four bedrooms were all beautiful/ comfortable (& BONUS: there were even a couple box fans provided). The kitchen had plenty of serving dishes and cookware. The entire backyard is fenced in for privacy. All in all - everything was as described & the stay was pleasant.

Charming, clean, and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. You are within a mile of North Street, with coffee shops(Fiddleheads and Colectivo), a grocery store, Lion's Tail Brewing, and restaurants. Also, one block from Cooper Park. The host was quick to respond and friendly. We would stay here again!

We loved Caylee's place for our girl's weekend! The property style and decor are so unique and charming and added such fun energy to our stay. We appreciated the provided games and loved the location. Everything in Bayview was so close and also very easy to access downtown Milwaukee. We were able to have a small fire in the yard one night, which we really enjoyed. I Highly recommend Caylee's place, and I would stay again!

What a great place! Great location! Great space and extremely clean! Julie Ann provided everything we needed and made our stay amazing.

A grand historic home in a beautiful area made us feel like royalty. The place was beautifully and artistically furnished, the beds comfortable, and it was well-equipped. We found some great local cafes and restaurants. The Fairgrounds coffee is just around the corner. We walked to Brady St and all its bohemian fare. There was a wonderful low-key Thai restaurant nearby. We would definitely return to this wonderful place next time we are in Milwaukee.

Ryan's place was good and very close to the city, beaches and cafes. Only issue we ran into was kitchen power went out while cooking dinner. When we reached out. Ryan was quick enough to help us with the instructions to bring power back up. Overall, good place to stay which was within our budget.

The space was even more impressive in person than in the photos. We loved the historic charm… we used to live on the East Side, so we felt right at home. The lakefront view was the “wow-factor”, and the space was clean and beautifully-appointed.

Nicely decorated with ample shared spaces for up to 4 adults though we only had 2. One phone call was all it took to register to park on the city street. Neighborhood is up and coming though we felt There is upstairs noise as others have commented.

The place met our needs well. Just as advertised, nice and clean ,easy to get in. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. We parked out front and unfortunately our car got broken into.

This place was nice and clean. Bigger than I expected from the pictures, very open and roomy. The host was very helpful, particularly with giving us heads up about street parking and such. She made every single effort to make sure we moved our car before it got towed. Which we did right in the nick of time. I'm definitely saving this place to stay next time I come to Milwaukee!

Once we landed in Milwaukee, we texted Jodi to let her know when we expected to arrive at her place. She quickly responded that she had some errands but provided the entry code and made us feel welcome. We got settled in and then she reached out via text to let us know she had returned. She came up to meet us in person and helped us understand the city requirements for parking on the street. She had already provided the URL to the registration site and just made sure we were comfortable with what needed to be done. She later informed me that I'd parked on the wrong side of the street so that I could move the vehicle so that it didn't get a ticket. I appreciated that. We were out and about most of the time we were there. The notes that she had placed throughout were very helpful. The booklet that she printed was very clear and her expectations were reasonable and easy to meet. It's an older home, but very quaint and pretty cool.

Nikki was super accommodating and always quick to respond to any questions we had. We had an amazing time on our girls trip — the penthouse was absolutely gorgeous and spotless. The decor was stylish and welcoming, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. Would 100% recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

I had such a wonderful stay at Jake's place. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. High end kitchen you could cook a gourmet dinner!!! The unit comes with a free and private parking space (which is a big plus for me). Located right in the heart of 3rd Ward. 2 blocks away from Milwaukee Public Market. Walkable distance to the Riverwalk, the Lakeshore State Park, Milwaukee Art Museum and many other local landmarks. Milwaukee free (Hop) train is just a block away from the apartment. It could take you all over the City. 3rd Ward have great shopping, excellent restaurants and eateries. I absolutely enjoy my stay. Highly recommend!! Much better than staying in a hotel!!!

Very cool, historic space! Elegantly updated with all the modern amenities. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars, shopping, and the waterfront. We were in town for a Brewers game and the zoo, and it was a short drive to both. Very well situated!
