Bungalow holiday rentals in Bay of Plenty Region

An ideal location for a stay in Whangamata - equally close to the beach & the shops - about a 2 minute walk either way. Great having a fully contained sleepout for 1 couple including a separate bathroom lounge & kitchenette. We were a group of 7 & in particular loved the spaciousness & the gorgeous shower.

Great location, so close to the beach. the sleepover is handy for teenagers. we loved it! would definitely stay there again.

This location was perfect for our whānau Christmas together. So close to both beaches and great kitchen for food preparation. We hope to return.

This is our second stay here and we loved it just as much as the first. Great location and love the kiwi bach style.

Check in was delayed because there was no key. Apparently the cleaner took the key with her mistakenly.

The property was as described with beautiful views from balcony. All amenities where provided as listed. Property was clean, and we were able to settle in. This property is a private apartment in the Trinity Wharf hotel, whose staff were very accommodating despite us not being guests with the hotel. We really appreciate all their help throughout the stay. The location is really good with the property being a short 10min drive from Mount Maunganui, and most of Tauranga's main shops were just 5 minutes down the road. P.S. the photos don't do the view from the balcony any justice, book it for yourself and find out!

Staff were super friendly, house was big enough to fit all of us (10 adults, 6 children), the place itself is beautiful in the bush, heaps to do with the walks at the campground and water holes, also the walks up the road through the Kami’s was amazing. Only downfalls were pool closed pretty early and the fridge isn’t really that big enough to hold food for 16 people but we made it work. Other than that our stay was perfect.

Absolutely fantastic few days at Susan’s place. The house is a gorgeous, beautifully styled, spacious cottage with a really pretty garden. It was quiet and private and plenty of space for us all (5 humans and a wee dog). We hugely appreciated the treats left for us (including the dog 🐶!). We all said it’s the best place we’ve stayed on Air BnB, an absolute gem. Thank you Susan, your home made our stay in Tauranga extra special.

Bridget was friendly and helpful. Details to find it were excellent, including letting me know about the major roadworks. Thanks for fresh oranges from the trees that were appreciated for my granddaughter’s team at the Aims games. The unit was cosy with heat pump and the bed was comfy and warm. Unfortunately neither of us could do anything about the rain.

Lovely stay at Rachael’s beautiful house, we felt right at home, extremely clean and tidy and had all the amenities one could need. Rachael left a lovely arrival gift which was very welcoming. Great place to stay in Papamoa - and handy to everything we needed. Only issue we had was in check in as no keys in lock box and we had to sort rubbish as people before us put rubbish in wrong bins! Apart from that all good!

We just finished our stay at the beautiful Kaitipu Cabin and honestly it was so hard to leave. The place is in the perfect location up in the hills but not too far from the beach and restaurants. The cabin has been so well thought out, provides everything you need and more. Christine is a wonderful host and made sure we were well set up and comfortable for our stay. The property is stunning and so well looked after, every detail made us feel right at home. Couldn't recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back!

This is a very homely place, great for a group of friends staying as the bedding is flexible with an extra bed in a private area in one bedroom and the couch in the lounge really comfortable if needed. The house is bit older but very clean and the host has thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking condiments you would need to cook up a storm if you are that way inclined. Some of the windows are a bit rattly in the wind - could be something to think about over winter. It was the easiest checkin and checkout ever. The host is really responsive and has written clear instructions. Checking out was easy too. We didn't have to do a million things to tidy the place like a lot of airbnbs. Just put on dishwasher, tidy kitchen and used towels in bath. That was really appreaciated as was an 11am checkout instead of 10am. The place is right by the river and it is easy to walk into town. Convenient spot.
