Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bastille, Paris

Jeremie’s flat is a dream. This is one of the most romantic places we ever stayed in. It has an incredible parisian charm to it and breathtaking views. It is very cosy and had everything we needed for a weekend in Paris. We knew that we will have to climb 7 floors to get to the apartment but it kept us in good health and fitness after all the delicious food we had :) Jeremie is also very friendly and met us for a check in to show how everything works in the apartment. He was responsive and ready to answer any questions and give recommendations. If you are not afraid to walk up, then do not hesitate to book this place for a memorable stay in Paris and photographs that you would want to share with everyone afterwards.

We stayed in this beautiful apartment as part of our European trip. David was an amazing host. We had to book last minute because our other rental had fire damage. David was very responsive and helpful getting us accommodated. He even had a bottle of wine waiting as a welcome present. He recommended several places to eat and a grocery store for any needs. His apartment was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. He explained how everything worked since we are not from France. The location was perfect; right near two different metro stations and you can even partially see the Eiffel Tower from the windows. There is even a small lift for people who may have mobility issues like my husband. The area seemed safe and quiet. We even slept with the windows open at night for a cool breeze. This place was perfect for us and we will definitely come back when we return to France!!

This is our second time staying at this place and we were just as happy this time as last time. We arrived in Paris in the morning and we were able to leave our bags in the apartment and then go out and spend the rest of the day in Paris before returning to formally check in later. We love the location since it’s within walking distance of many places and the metro station is literally across the street. We easily fit six people in the apartment. Having a bedroom with a separate bathroom was very nice since we let my wife’s parents use that and it gave them a bit of privacy while my kids took the pull out couch and my wife and I took the other bedroom. Everything was well equipped and we didn’t lack anything. Jay was also very responsive. I’ll definitely consider staying here again if I’m traveling with a group larger than a couple people.

This apartment was the cutest place to stay at for anyone visiting the first time in Paris! It’s in a family friendly neighborhood and the building is extremely secure. Eiffel Tower is only a 10 minute walk away and there are so many different cafes and restaurants nearby. Everything from our booking, to our check in and check out was easy with Sophie! She is the absolute sweetest host and is very accommodating, considering we were a few hours late from our initial check in because of flight delays. The apartment has everything you need and the balcony is the biggest highlight! Watching the Tower sparkle every night was truly magical. We hope to be back! Thank you Sophie!

Samuel is a fantastic host, polite, friendly and responsive. He goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay in Paris. The apartment is beautifully decorated and chic in a stunning area of Paris. We loved the old building, balconies and old style lift to take you up and down from the sixth floor. Samuel showcases his treasures, whilst also maintaining a high level of cleanliness and space. Naturally, you can hear some noises within the building but this does not deter from your stay, and for anyone with young children just be mindful of their heavy feet on the wooden floors. Montmartre is our favourite part of Paris for its views and winding streets of cafes and shops. All amenities are very close by. We would highly recommend staying at Samuel’s place. Helenes home was perfect! You are closer to the Eiffel Tower than the pictures make it seem. The home was well stocked and had plenty of ammenities. We would definately stay here again.

Martin's apartment was the PERFECT place to stay for our first trip to Paris! The location cannot be beat, everything is so easily accessible. So many great restaurants and shops right on the street and in the neighborhood. Metro was super easy to find and use for places that were too far to walk. Martin was a great host and always responsive. We had a bit of trouble with the codes for both doors during check in, but after we recieved the keys, there is a fob that easily opens both doors and had no further trouble. It is worth noting the apartment is a third floor walk up, so don't overpack luggage! The apartment itself is spacious and clean, we were so happy to have the extra space. The bath towels could use replacement, as they are small and super scratchy/bleach stained, but we have found the same thing at Airbnb's in other parts of Europe. I would just consider packing my own for next time. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will definitley be staying here on our next trip!

This apartment was truly special—an unforgettable Parisian experience! We felt so lucky to spend a few days here and live like true Parisiens. The decor was chic and comfortable, filled with fantastic art, an impressive movie collection, and a well-stocked library. There was endless storage and plenty of space for our group of six adults to relax and unwind. The private hot tub, sauna, and hammam were absolute luxuries after long days of exploring the city. The location was unbeatable—restaurants, shopping, and train stations were just outside the door, and I loved starting each day with a visit to Black Bird coffee. Lucie and Sébastien were fabulous communicators. The apartment even had QR codes to help us navigate the features like the skylights and hammam, which was such a thoughtful touch. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the entire space was beautifully maintained. Everything was perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Comfortable bed, great location, very walkable. Very good boulangeries and patisseries in the area. My daughter loved the cafe americano at Notre Patisserie across the street. Nicolas was able to meet us early to drop off our luggage which was much appreciated. No AC, but we purchased a couple small fans at a monoprix and slept with the windows open and it was perfect. Small elevator was helpful after a long day of walking. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this apartment.

Antoine’s apartment in Quartier Montorgueil is the perfect home base for a trip to Paris. The neighborhood is so lively and picturesque with so many amenities and markets. It was such a lovely home base to walk out to and return to every day. Walkable to a bunch of great attractions and so close to the airport train. The apartment itself is a dream. Well appointed with the dishwasher and washing machine. It has everything you would need and is so comfortable. The outdoor space is SUCH a bonus. We enjoyed coffee and snacks out there every day as we started our day and would come back to charge up for our evenings. This is the perfect Paris airbnb. We loved it so much.

Nuestra estancia ha sido increíble. La casa coincidía perfectamente con la descripción. Muy cómoda para una pareja y una bebé, cama y cuna muy cómodas, ropa de cama y toallas limpias, lo único que resaltaría es que se debe limpiar más profundamente los utensilios de la cocina y la vajilla, el resto genial. La localización muy buena en el centro de París, a 30 minutos a pie de los puntos más importantes como la Catedral de Notre Dame. Cerca de la casa también había supermercados y varias pastelerías muy ricas! La mejor sin duda la panadería de Maé. Fred siempre se mostró disponible para cualquier duda o pregunta y fue muy amable. Gran anfitrión. Si volvemos a París, volveríamos a alojarnos en este apartamento. Sólo hay que tener en cuenta que se trata de un séptimo piso y que el ascensor llega hasta el sexto (lo cual ya viene indicado en la descripción), y que el ascensor es muy estrecho, así que mejor viajar con un carro de bebé ligero si se aloja con un bebé. The view of the Eiffel Tower was priceless! The apartment was very comfortable and a lovely oasis to come home to each evening. Thank you, Christophe! You are a gracious host and we appreciated your personal tips about your place , as well as suggestions for restaurants and shopping in the area.

I stayed at Julie's place for 12 days at the end of May. Her friend Stephane met me for check-in and was accommodating of my arrival time. My first impression was that the furniture looked a little older than appeared in the photos, but everything was clean and I quickly settled in and was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the kitchen. It was cute, well-stocked, and efficient. The apartment was clean, and the water pressure in the shower was good. There was plenty of closet space to put my clothes. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor (1st floor by French standards) in the back of the building, so it is quiet. It is in a great location surrounded by many wonderful bakeries, cafes, and markets. It is a 15 minute walk to the Marais and to Pere Lachaise Cemetery. Julie is pleasant, easy to communicate with, and very helpful in offering local recommendations. I wanted to have the "local" Paris experience and this place met my needs.

Cozy top floor apartment in the Marais neighborhood of Paris (3rd Arr). We stayed there for 7 days and had a great time. Very comfortable beds, the kitchen has everything you need to make some small meals, and plenty of hot water for showers. Even though it’s on the top floor (we counted 99 stairs!) there is a small lift/elevator that gets you to just below the last floor. The neighborhood is fantastic with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and you’re very close to the Filles du Calvaire Metro stop. Sébastien was prompt in responding to any questions we had and was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Henley’s place is specious, comfortable and homey. The location is great, a stone through from the Pompidou Center on one side and the Marais on the other side. Walkable all around. Henley is very responsive and did her best to make our stay (and late check out), as comfortable and easy as possible. Lots of recomendations and advice to any question. Very recomended!

Fantastische plek met alles wat je nodig hebt! Echt een oase op goede afstand van de stad. Om bij te kunnen komen van de drukke stad is dit echt een aanrader Het zwembad en de tuin is heerlijk en het huis is knus en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Mooi gelegen aan de rand van het bos.

A casa de Elodie é super confortavel. Para quem quer estar em uma casa, com lazer e a apenas 30 min de carro de Paris ou 50 min com trem/metro trata-se de uma otima opcao. Tambem aconselhado para quem viaja com criancas no verao.

Charmante kleine Wohnung im 27. Stock des Evasion 2000 von 1971. Zugang zu einem Pool unterm Dach. 15 Minuten Fußweg zum Eiffelturm. Sehr schnelle und klare Kommunikation mit Paule. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Imagine opening a front door and being confronted every time with a most incredible view of Paris - now stay at Christophe's beautiful aerie of a home and you'll have this jaw-dropping moment every time you "come home" and it will feel like you are truly a citizen of Paris when staying here. Exactly as pictured and described, you will easily settle into this very large two-bedroom, two-bathroom modern home away from home. Not the typical one-bedroom tiny home of our past visits. Perfect for a family to spread out. Christophe has thought of everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the bedrooms with their beautiful linens. It's so perfect you might not want to leave! Don't hesitate. Snag this place and live like a Parisian even if only for a week or two! Christophe is a gracious host and a truly remarkable and interesting fellow. This is a layup.

This was a fabulous house to stay in. For our family of 5 there was plenty of indoor and oudoor space. The salt water pool was delightful, as was the whole garden with plenty of seating and relaxing areas. The children loved the trampoline and petanque. The house is in a superb location. We had many walks and bike rides along the beautiful river. There was plenty to do locally - we went bowling, mini golf, kayaking, to the football and Le Trot. The area was peaceful and very safe. We did a few trips into Paris which took about 30 minutes from the house. Stephanie was incredibly helpful and informative. We could not have had a better holiday, thanks to this lovely house and hosts.

Beautiful Airbnb flat that accommodated our party of four nicely. Beautiful decor and greatly enjoyed our feline host (Lucknow). Both toilettes are at the same end of the flat so bedrooms at far end are not immediately near access to a toilette (just different layout than expected). The location is quiet but should be noted that it is on the second level of the building just above a children's preschool/daycare so there were mornings with children crying at drop offs which was mildly disruptive. Stephanie was a wonderfully accommodating and communicative host. She offered multiple suggestions for the area (shopping, dining, etc) whenever asked, prior to and during our stay. She even made arrangements for us at her delicious Indian restaurant located near Notre Dame. Overall, Stephanie's accommodations made for a spacious and comfortable stay. Merci !
