Coach House built in 1899, now fully renovated to provide fantastic space a 10 min walk from the Cathedral. Up: Amazing master bedroom suite with double whirlpool Japanese bath (the 'hot-tub') & walk-in shower. Down: Wetroom, kitchen, lounge & 2 courtyard gardens.
“We had a wonderful stay in The Coach House and it will not disappoint. The location is great for walking into town or accessing the nearby countryside. The Coach House is very well appointed as the pictures suggest and we might just have to get a jacuzzi bath of our own!”
A luxury hideaway in the grounds of an old cider producing Herefordshire farmhouse, Woodcutters Cottage provides a great base to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Wye Valley. Cheltenham Racecourse is within easy reach for the Festival in March as well as other festivals for the non-horsey throughout the year - jazz, science and literary. Hay festival is also close enough to use this gorgeous cottage as a base. Dogs welcome by prior arrangement.
“This cottage is absolutely gorgeous. Although it has one bedroom, the layout makes it feel more spacious. Three of us stayed for 2 nights. Kirstie was kind enough to put a mattress in the bedroom, for our teenage daughter. It is spotlessly clean, homely and the log burning stove was cosy. The added bonus of a downstairs shower room together with a spacious bathroom upstairs, is useful. The chocolate brownies were scrumptious, together with the pint of milk, bread, bacon, eggs and marmalade. Kirstie was friendly and informative before we arrived, even taking the time to send me a video to explain how to manoeuvre our trailer! Her family and the pooches, made us feel very welcome. The location was ideal as we were taking part in an event, close by. Set in beautiful countryside, it is close enough to a few local excellent pubs. There's plenty of walks around the area and Ledbury isn't far. A great stay that I would highly recommend to others. Thank you.”
Situated 3 miles outside of Hereford, this is a double bedroom ensuite with fully equipped kitchen, study/sitting room and good sized courtyard for your use. An extension to a coach house, this accommodation is a very private and comfortable annex with ample parking. Please note, if looking for four people, there is another double room in the main house that can be booked (subject to availability).
“Perfect for a restorative escape, the annexe is cosy, comfortable and full of thoughtful touches, including lots of breakfast options and a fully-equipped kitchen. Conveniently located close to Hereford, up a short track which instantly feels like an authentic countryside enclosure. The bed is very comfortable, the shower room is spacious, immaculately clean and finished with miniature toiletries, while there’s also a study/sitting area available for use. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, spacious and ideal for star-gazing. Many thanks to Mark and Sam, who are helpful and friendly hosts, and their affection-loving golden retriever, Harley, for making it a charming stay.”
