Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Barry

Perfectly placed to walk with my husband who uses a mobility scooter and has dementia. Flat easy access and met all our needs. Wonderful for me to walk our dog too. Can’t fault it really and it felt like staying in a friend’s home. Any questions were answered immediately. Thank you Lee.

Great location with lovely views. We stayed for our wedding and Lucy was very accommodating with deliveries etc dropping things off in the morning. Lucy's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A great place!

Lovely home for our large family get together. When asked questions Elisha was very quick to respond and even recommended some lovely restaurants. We loved Penarth it’s such a lovely place to stay. We could stroll for about 20 minutes to the pier and various restaurants from the house. Also easy access into the city by train.

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

There were three of us staying and we had a great couple of days. Everything was perfect. A very quiet location but within walking distance to the station, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and bay. The house was well equipped with comfortable mattresses, good showers and everything was clean. Aaron was a good communicator and quick to respond to questions. Thank you Aaron.

Elzbieta’s place is a charming oasis of peace and boutique style of decoration and attention to detail in how beautifully put together everything is. There was welcome, eggs, breads and milk, dishwasher, microwave and cooking ingredients and equipment. The place was spotlessly clean and Elzbieta herself was very responsive, friendly and helpful.

I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable and cozy the apartment was. Everything is done with care and attention to detail — it’s clear a lot of love went into creating this space. It was a real pleasure to stay here, and I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. The location is also great, especially if you’re travelling without a car. Thanks to Miles for being a kind and helpful host!

What I can find in the room is a beautiful bay view from the room, walkable to local shops and restaurants, plenty of parking spaces, good kitchen enough for simple cooking. This room is good for couple to stay.

Lovely place, well presented with good transport links

Perfect spot for me travelling solo for a quick stay. Very easy to find, everything I needed, close enough to centre of town to meet friends, Rhys was great and very responsive.

A spacious apartment which is well appointed. Shops, restaurants and bars close by. Not too far by car into the centre of Cardiff and easy access to M4

Highly recommend staying at Lyn's Coastal Treasures The bed is so comfortable it's like sleeping on a cloud. Plenty of hot water for showering. Close to the beach and restaurants. Narrow roads are interesting. We were spoilt with a hamper of Welsh cakes and loaf of bread. Information booklets were very helpful.

Me and my partner stayed here for the night and it was a really lovely, cozy and spacious Airbnb! Richard had provided everything we needed and more! As well as this, it was extremely clean and well decorated. Richard communicated really well, check in and check out was super easy. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking to stay in this area.

Beautifully kept flat, very well decorated, and quiet. Had everything i needed for my 3 day stay. I had a problem at check in(key broke in lock) joleta responded to message in about 10 mins and was there 20 mins later with another set of keys. Excellent photos to show you how to find car park and key box. cardiff castle and centre are about 20 mins walk and there is a smaller high street 15 mins in the other direction with a tescos and some nice looking places to eat. One of the best Airbnb ‘s we have stayed in . Perfect peaceful location . Near to shops and parks . Spotlessly clean . Comfortably big apartment . Everything we needed for a relaxing stay . We will return and highly recommend . Thank you .

Very cosy apartment in a great part of the city. Comfortable with all of the amenities needed for a short break. Louisa was a great host and communicated everything we needed to know.

The Pad is a wonderful place to stay in a really nice area. The apartment is immaculate and has a beautifully curated art deco interior. The space has everything you need, Jane really has thought of everything. We felt relaxed in the space; the gorgeous views from the balcony and visits from Mr Hopkins were an added bonus. We both said that we had never stayed in an AirBnB that was so good before. Jane knew it was our anniversary and very thoughtfully added some special extras. We will definitely be back when we return to Cardiff! Cardiff centre is easily accessible by public transport, or on foot (about 30 mins). The local area has a great selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a lovely park.

What a fabulous find so close to Whitchurch village with easy free parking. It was a joy to stay at the self contained bungalow. The whole place was immaculate throughout and completely matched the images. The bungalow was quiet and peaceful all through my stay. Lovely touches of arriving to bread, milk, biscuits, tea , coffee and jam. Loads of towels for use if needed and a very comfy bed with crisp linen. The host was so so lovely and welcoming that I felt at home straight away after a very long car journey. I absolutely loved my stay and could not recommend this place any more highly. I will definitely want to stay again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Kevin gave us clear and easy instructions to get in the apartment, and it was in a perfect location - walk out the front door and you're bang in city centre. We went to Cardiff to see a gig in the Utilita arena which was literally a 2 min walk away. The apartment itself is huge and beautifully presented. Highly recommended and if I'm in Cardiff again I'll know where to look for accommodation. Thanks Kevin!

Absolutely loved staying at Melanie's flat. It was like a home away from home with anything you could possibly need - extra toilet rolls and cling film/tin foil! Even a brand new toothbrush if you needed it. She's really thought of everything! The place is lovely and spacious - decorated beautifully! And the bed is super comfy! Perfect for a good night's sleep.
