Monthly Rentals in Barrows Green

Such a lovely place to stay for the weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Was also in a good spot near supermarkets, restaurants and not a long drive from other towns such as Windermere.

Everything is just as described, we had an amazing stay at this cozy little spot! My partner and I absolutely loved the unique van experience—without needing to drive it. The surroundings were quaint and peaceful, and waking up to sheep right outside was surreal. Phillip was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, even helping us set up the firewood for the pizza oven, which made for such a memorable evening. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a charming, off-the-beaten-path getaway!

Lovingly restored property with oodles of internal space for 6 (2 adults, 2 teens and 2 children). The high ceilings, exposed beams and the veluxe windows with views of the sky were particular highlights. Langway has all the amenities inside you could need and more. Lovely to have an air bnb place that has the key bits in the kitchen that make life a bit easier when you're only a way a short period and haven't bought absolutely everything with you - cling/foil/condiments/ squash. The welcome basket and bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Beds and bedding were really comfy. Sofas not super comfy, but we didn't spend long say on them as we were mainly out exploring. Not far to Kendal and to Windemere by car. Langway has limited outside space, but we knew that on booking and the little courtyard with table and chairs was enough for us. It does face on to the lane, but the lane is exceedingly quiet with only a handful of cars ever passing. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Cosy Cabin, which is well located (close to Kendal and making it easy to go hiking in the Lake District) and comfortable. The cabin is private and quiet, and Amanda and Dave were very nice and helpful. We were even able to enjoy the patio with the nice weather!
