Just got back from having 3 lovely nights stay at Carr Cottage. The cottage is spacious, very clean, well equipped, comfortable & warm. Good size bathroom with an excellent shower and large towels which is always a bonus. We only used the first floor bedroom but the bed was so comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to Halifax, bus right outside your door, an hour walk to Sowerby Bridge along the canal and a bus at the bottom of the road to Hebden Bridge. Also, a friendly local pub a few minutes walk down hill too. Thank you Ric & Ingrid for being great hosts, will recommend 😊

Excellent location and stay! We stayed here for the weekend while we attended a family wedding and it was perfect for what we needed! Lovely and clean, comfy and homely. Would happily stay again.

Booked this trip last minute and was not disappointed with our choice, the instructions for parking and how to find the cottage was spot on. Less then a couple minutes walk and you’re at all the coffee shops and pubs with a short drive to other villages and all the famous walks.

Where do I start there is just so many positive things. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my sister and bridesmaids it was just beautiful in fact stunning. I was amazing. I asked for an early check in as I wanted to take some wedding things across, not only did Claire accommodate me she left a card chocolates and flowers, ironically from the same florist as my wedding flowers. I cried at the thoughtfulness. During the evening Claire then left homemade cakes at the door they were delicious btw. From myself and my wedding party you just blow us away from home he stunning cottage to the views and you being the most amazing kind host. Thank you.

John and Sara were wonderful hosts and Huthwaite Grange was perfect for our party of 9. The walking in the surrounding area is fabulous and can be done from the house. We had such a great time! Thank you.

I used to live in Penistone and since my close relative passed away 11 years ago I needed somewhere else to stay for a family wedding, I felt right at home. The house was clean tidy and spacious for our family of four. Bethan was super helpful from start to finish. I would highly recommend to all that would like somewhere to stay in Penistone. Beautiful apartment in an ideal location. Situated within a few minutes walk of everything you’d want to do in York. The apartment itself is lovely and quirky and had all the amenities you’d want (tea, milk, hairdryer, safety pins etc.) Only slight downside was you can hear the street outside very clearly from the bedroom, but didn’t take away from the experience and would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic location with parking but perfect if you are foot. Easy access from the station and into the city. The accommodation was as specified, nicely furnished and fully kitted out if you want to cook, iron etc. Overlooking the city walls but a quiet location nevertheless. We has a very happy stay.

Beautiful apartment right in the centre of Castleton! Lots of restaurants/pubs, small convenience shops, and amazing views right on your doorstep. Marieanne was so friendly and always responsive, and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will have to visit again next time we’re in Castleton!

The stay at the loft was beautiful, it felt very cosy and homey there. Check in was easy and Nick was great at responding!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated in a vintage style, which made our stay warm and comfortable. Carmen and Martin welcomed us with open arms, and Carmen was incredibly kind and friendly. She explained everything clearly and made sure we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for the amazing hospitality — we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

Super comfortable apartment, lovely beds and sofas. All the amenities you need, even tea coffee sugar and milk :) we would definitely stay again

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the Ebor Suite and wished it was for longer. Beautiful decor and everything you need for a short stay. Great detailed instruction for check in. Close to a co-op if you need a few supplies and plenty of restaurants and takeaways. We would certainly return and would recommend to others.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.
