If you are looking for calm and nature, this is the place, pretty little village of 600 inhabitants. Martine is welcoming . The accommodation is pleasant, cozy and stocked with all the necessities , we had forgotten the towels and had the good surprise to find them available, the bedding is comfortable. The area is very beautiful. Upaix is close to a small town Laragne Monteglin where you will find all the useful shops and restaurants, we ate at Le Délicatessen and we recommend it. We couldn't eat in Upaix at Beau Soleil because you have to book in advance. We also advise you to visit the Citadel of Sisteron which is a 15-minute drive away. We plan to come back to this place to discover the Gorges de la Méouge.

Tayakout is a golden host! Caring, generous, she offers a very pleasant welcome in a living environment that is just as pleasant. The apartment is functional and full of charm, you feel at home there thanks to the warmth of the place and Tayakout. Finally, the environment is just as soothing… a small town above the Bâtie Neuve surrounded by forests, rivers and plenty of hiking trails to satisfy nature lovers! Finally, the view from the terrace of the mountains is exceptional and the apartment even has a small cozy and well-appointed garden with small table, deckchairs and darts games. Beautiful cottage in a very pretty small perched village, close to many hiking departures and close to the Gorges de la Méouge, a fabulous site. Michelle is very inviting and helpful. Her cottage is very well maintained, decorated with taste. There is everything you need for a great stay. It feels like home. What a pleasure to enjoy an unobstructed view of the valley and the Ecrins massif, from the terrace. So feel free to book, if you are looking for a peaceful place in the middle of nature, the little house by the fountain is a haven of peace. We will keep the address and will be sure to return.
