We had an absolutely fantastic time here. Would highly recommend. The house was spotless, very well kept. The beds were all extremely comfortable, all with fresh linen. The view was amazing. The house is right on the water. The gardens and estate was an excellent place to go for a wander and explore. Paul was an excellent host. We cant wait to come back again

La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

Lovely spacious and very clean house on a peaceful island in county cork. We spent 5 nights here for my mother in law’s birthday. Well located to explore the surrounding beaches, bays, islands and countryside. Unfortunately our fridge broke but the team were very quick to create solutions and then fix it. Very good communication from the Inish Beg team. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at Nina & Noel’s place! Even though the place was small, it was cozy and nicely decorated with wooden carvings by Noel. We met Noel when we arrived, and he was very attentive and open. Noel and Nina were very quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything. Noel was always up for a chat and tips for local activities. The apartment is nice and quiet, with lovely views of the surrounding valley, and a short drive away from Bantry. The sauna was great as well after a long day of hiking. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Nina and Noel’s place if you’re looking for a quiet, cosy holiday surrounded by nature and friendly people! (And two outside cats) 🐈‍⬛🌳 Thank you Noel and Nina for a wonderful stay!

Très bien situé proche du centre, maison très agréable.

We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

We had a lovely family holiday in this home, which was perfect for our one year old. Enclosed garden, 3 mins walk to town and lots of space! We will definitely return.

A gorgeous Airbnb, Christine has thought of everything! A wonderful location too for exploring all that West Cork has to offer 😊

Loved staying in Katie’s Airbnb. It’s so central for spending time in Ballydehob or a great base if you want to tour further into west cork. Loads of great pubs and restaurants a walking distance away. Katie’s home had everything from electric blankets, to picnic baskets to the wine cooler and ice cubes in the fridge. It was perfect. We especially loved the garden table and chairs outside. Would highly recommend

We had a great time while at this Airbnb. Great location and views. Short drive to Clonakilty which is a great town. Short walk to Inchydoney beach. Airbnb comes with plenty of essential items. Beds are comfy. Host was incredibly helpful, friendly and proactive..was a pleasure to deal with! Would highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful family weekend away at Paul’s house. It’s very child friendly with our crawling 1 year old able to get around everywhere with ease. The garden is closed in so safe for kids to play outside. Amazing views and very comfortable house, with extra touches making it feel homely. Would recommend 🙂

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this stay. Karen was so kind and the space was beautiful- perfect for our family trip, within 12 min of downtown, lots of yummy restaurants in the area. This stay is definitely a highlight of our trip.

Noreen is very friendly and the house is great! enough space for everyone, everything you need in the kitchen, perfect view from the front of the house and main bedroom.

A lovely cottage in a pretty location. We walked to the bridge in the evenings looking for wildlife. There wasn't a great deal the week we were there. The cottage was clean, had everything you needed and more. A nice big bed and good shower. Adrian replied quickly and was always available if needed. We loved our week in Fisherman's cottage.

Our time at Foxglove Cottage was so lovely. It’s very clear that Anna and Matt have poured their hearts into this serene wee cottage. From the design choices which feel elevated without sacrificing comfort, to the small touches they go out of their way to include, every moment here begets relaxation. We had the good fortune to be here when the foxgloves were in bloom and I was touched to see fresh foxgloves on the windowsill above the kitchen sink as well as small fresh flowers on our bed and in the bathroom. When we arrived, we were greeted with a tray of homemade goodies and fresh eggs from Foxglove Cottage’s very own chickens. As hosts, Anna and Matt are attentive and thoughtful, seeing to their guests needs in a timely fashion. While their residence is very close by, the cottage itself feels a million miles away. As for the location: Bantry (20 mins) is near by with several good restaurants and shopping, Bantry House and Gardens, and Gougane Barra national forest (40 mins).

We had a great time at Patrick’s house and loved the area of Glandore! The house was beautiful and so clean and Patrick was so accommodating

Such a beautiful corner of the world! The cottage was cosy and well-equipped, we enjoyed making ourselves a cooked breakfast each morning with Clonakilty black pudding. We enjoyed our stay immensely, only a stone’s throw from the lovely town of Clonakilty, and would very much recommend staying here.

La maison est incroyable, parfaite pour une réunion de famille, chaque chambre est spacieuse et a sa salle de bain avec douche et toilettes. Les lits sont tous confortables, la cuisine bien équipée, mais surtout l'emplacement est magnifique. La vue imprenable sur la mer et les iles est un régal pour les yeux à chaque instant. Seamus est un hôte parfait, d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle, présent, aidant et discret à la fois. Je n'ai qu'une envie, y retourner dès que possible ! Merci Seamus !

Felt like a home from home. A really peaceful location. Mary was available should we have needed anything extra. There was a lot to explore in the area and the location of the cottage is ideal to visiting places from Mizen Head to Cork and the surrounding areas. We look forward to a return trip in the future.

Fabulous spot! Berni was extremely helpful and communicative. She left clear instructions for self check in. Little gift on arrival for adults and kids was a lovely touch. House had everything needed for our stay including equipment for local trips to the beach and games for the kids. Beautiful quiet spot in the countryside but very close to skibbereen and beaches nearby. Will definitely return again :) Fiona

We had an excellent stay thank you, the house was exactly as expected. Denise was a great host, excellent communication throughout, and very helpful!

Do not hesitate to book this home! Spacious open living space, three large bedrooms – windows and views from all of them. 2 modern bathrooms walk-in showers. Kitchen stocked for daily living, plus a dishwasher, microwave, oven. Nice washer/dryer which was a bonus for us. We’re from the USA and lived here for 7 days. The views are amazing from every room – green hillsides with sheep and cows and views of Dunmanus Bay. Two lovely decks – one off the kitchen overloooking the hillside and one overlooking the bay. This is just the experience we were looking for. Anne and Pat are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with Anne’s, fresh out-of-the-oven brown bread, a package of Durrus cheese, and farm fresh milk and eggs! What a treat. The home is just south of Durrus making it a great location for exploring Mizen Head and Sheep’s Head Peninsula, and going back into Bantry, etc. Road tripped every day to small villages, towns, scenic drives, stone circles. Just the best for us!

Had a fantastic weekend a Jeni's home. Everything matched the descriptions and pictures. House absolutely spotless. The pub across the road was a great bonus that served some lovely food. The staircase in the home was of course a prime activity for the 3 small children we had (naturally they gravitated to the more dangerous spot!) but it's clearly seen in the pictures so we were well prepared for it. All in all, an extremely positive experience.
