The Avon - Cosy Apartment in the Heart of Ramsbury

Ramsbury is a picturesque Wiltshire village in the beautiful North Wessex Downs. The Avon is a self-contained ground-floor chalet within the grounds of the former Crown and Anchor. It has free parking, a private entrance, private patio and access to the garden. One well-behaved dog is welcome; we simply ask that pets stay off the furniture and bed. A short walk takes you to The Bell pub and restaurant, the Post Office, scenic riverside walks and the renowned Ramsbury Brewery & Distillery.

Just 5 minutes' drive from J15 of the M4 & 15 minutes by taxi from Swindon Railway Station. The ancient Ridgeway is on the doorstep, as are the Iron Age Hill Forts of Liddington and Barbury Castle. Conveniently located to explore the Roman City of Bath, Cirencester, Hungerford, Marlborough, Salisbury, Caen Hill Locks, The Cotswolds etc. London Paddington is one hour by train.

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

The Old Bakery At The Grange

Perfectly located for RIAT, being walking distance from the Green Entry Point, The Old Bakery At The Grange is an ideal cottage for exploring all that the Cotswolds has to offer whatever the season. We are a few minutes’ walk away from The Old Spotted Cow pub. The cottage is full of country character and the interiors reflect our love of travel. Due to the character features of the cottage, it is unsuitable for very young toddlers and those unsteady on their feet.

The bedroom has two velux windows overlooking the beautiful countryside. Outside is a private courtyard/garden area with hot tub

The Pool House

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.

A wonderful, modern and beautifully furnished self contained annexe with own private entrance on 5 acres. Private off road parking with wonderful views and long country walks directly from the property. A stunning wrought iron bed wraps you in warmth and comfort with a shower and WC ensuite. A Woodburner and luxurious velvet sofa with large screen TV ensures a comfortable night in; but there are also five pubs within easy walking distance.

Situated in the cosy village of Liddington, this self-contained annexe attached to the former village post office offers a perfect place to stay for those wishing to explore the local area. It also provides an excellent base for those working at the nearby Great Western Hospital. With its own private entrance, kitchen, shower room, living room and bedroom it has all you need for a comfortable stay.
