Newly refurbished for the 2024 season, self-catering gîte for two in rural France, offering a double bedroom, en-suite walk-in shower room, open plan living with log fire and two private patio areas. It's a wonderful situation at the head of the beautiful Gatine valley. Ideal any season for walking, cycling or simply taking time out. In the winter months you’ll be cozy with the log burner - and there are heaters if you need extra warmth in a cold snap - just ask, we’re always nearby to help.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

Refurbished apartment close to the city centre and all amenities. Ideal for single people or a couple but can accommodate up to 4 people nearby. Open spaces consisting of a living room (BZ 140 cm) with kitchen and dining area, bedroom with bathroom (shower/washbasin). Separate toilet. The bedroom can be separated by a curtain. Memory shape mattress. Towels and bed linen are provided. About 400m away, city center, hypermarket, leisure base Playful swimming pool 800 m Bus station 1400m

The accommodation offers a furnished kitchen on the ground floor, as well as a seating area equipped with a bench seat. Upstairs you will find the toilet, as well as the master suite. Azay-Sur-Thouet is 1H30 from La Rochelle, 1H00 from Futuroscope and Puy du Fou, 45 min from Marais Poitevin and 10 min from Parthenay (FLIP) and Pougne Hérisson (Festival du Nombril du Monde). No pets.
