Waterfront holiday rentals in Avoca Beach

We had an amazing time staying at Lucy's beachfront Airbnb! We spent a month there and loved waking up to the stunning sunrise every morning. The apartment was perfect for our family of four, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lucy was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would absolutely love to return for another beach getaway!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Sonia's. A fabulous location and all the amenities of your own home. We really appreciated the beach towels. Waking up to the beach across the road was glorious.

Very happy with our 2 night stay. Hosts were great to deal with very friendly and helpful. Nice spot, lots of beautiful restaurants to choose from, walk straight onto the beach, good shops to browse. Overall 10/10 for accommodation and surrounds

Beth is a warm and gracious host and the studio is really spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was a generous complimentary selection of snacks and fruits, which was an extremely welcoming touch in case you were a bit peckish on arrival. The garden is a beautiful space in which to relax as well - I just wished we'd had time to try out the BBQ! Beth's place is within striking distance of Palm Beach or Avalon Beach and we always walked (allow 30-40 minutes to either); alternatively, the #199 bus services Barrenjoey Road every 5-10 minutes. We found Beth's place to be an excellent base for enjoying and exploring the area and highly recommend this place to others.

An excellent location for a stay alone or if you are coming as a couple! Very close proximity to the beaches and short drive to Balmoral baths! I enjoy fishing so being able to go to a location like Balmoral baths for fishing was truly an amazing experience for me! Would love to be back again in the future!

Had a week here over Christmas with another family staying close by. Perfect spot for a large group. There were ten of us with a toddler, and it was spacious enough that you weren't on top of each other. Anna did message us day before we arrived to let us know the AC had broken and wouldn't be working when we were there. Fans were provided but we did have sea breeze most days. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Extra chairs were there if needed which were handy. Close drive to Terrigal and Avoca. We walked to Avoca Surf club one night, and it's not that far. Would definitely stay here again, and I will miss the morning coffee on the deck at sunrise and a glass of Red at sunset.

A Slice of Hawkesbury Paradise... The home is secluded and private, way off the beaten track with all the creature comforts and more. Each bedroom is beautifully appointed and comfortable with an en suite bathroom. The living area is perfect for indoor and outdoor entertaining. Patrick and Liam were very helpful with a late check-in and they were available throughout our stay. We hosted a birthday party on Sunday, catered beautifully by Liam, who is a talented chef. All our guests had a wonderful time and want to come and stay again. Thank you George.

This was such a lovely beach home, the kind you dream of! It was wonderful having views of the water from every corner of the home. Everything in the home was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. We tried kayaking and fishing and enjoyed it very much. The boys enjoyed playing on the lawn outside and the husband prepared a simple bbq on the patio. The kitchen was also very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay here very much and will definitely be recommending friends over!

This lakeside home is the perfect getaway for large family gatherings for all ages! The pool was AMAZING, the pool table was used constantly, the kitchen was well stocked and the 3 main bedrooms has the most incredible views. The beds were all very comfortable, and there were multiple TVs to suit everyone. The bathrooms were spacious and modern. The views were stunning across the lake, especially at sunset. our family of 13 had a very special and memorable stay. Justin's videos were very helpful and his communication was excellent.

We had a lovely family getaway at this beautiful home. The space itself is spacious, well-designed, and perfect for spending quality time together—especially with the pool and outdoor area, which have so much potential for relaxing and making memories. Although we encountered a few hiccups during our stay, the host was incredibly responsive and proactive in addressing them, which we really appreciated. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. With a bit more attention to detail, this property could be a standout holiday home. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would be happy to return in the future. Thank you again for hosting us!

Knights ridge felt like you were in your own secret valley , surrounded by ancient rock walls . Peaceful and uplifting . A picture out every window . Lots of rain just before our stay so the Creek was flowing and a vibrant green gully Lovely autumn colours . Lots of space and everything you needed for a peaceful break away from city life . The house was rustic and inviting with many collected unique pieces . Lots of space and different places to just be in the moment . Big sunny deck to relax Beautiful warm fire 🔥 that kept the house cosy . We spent 3 magic days there Loved it was off grid and so private . We definitely like to come back one day 💕

The place was very close to Mona Vale Beach. Not far from the bus to the city or Manly. Close to Mona Vale shops.

Jonathan's place was exactly what I needed for my stay in Sydney. It was within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the ferry station, and it was peaceful after a long day in the city. I would recommend it to anyone needing a home away from home while in Manly or Sydney.

Had a great stay! Loved being right on the beach. Parking was the only pitfall but something out of their control. Great stay and will definitely attempt to stay there again!

We stayed at Daniel’s place as a family with 2 young kids. We had a long drive to get there and arrived late so I couldn’t quite work out the check in instructions I messaged Daniel and he replied instantly helping me through it! Lovely large apartment directly across from the beach. Lovely location a bit quieter than the other end but a short walk to everything. There’s a few flights of stairs which we were aware of prior to booking, was a bit tricky with the kids prams and stuff but to be expected! I can’t fault the Airbnb and loved how responsive and welcoming Daniel was :) Bonus that there’s garaged parking big enough for a 4WD. Thanks for a lovely stay.

First, Cas is extremely easy to communicate with- very timely, flexible & supportive! Thanks so much! Next- the location could not be any better- the absolute best spot on the beaches… everything you need in short flat walk. View is excellent! The balcony is perfect to relax and read a book and still feel connected to the Freshwater community.

The property was great and the cleanliness was impressive. I had a wonderful time and would definitely consider booking it again in the future.
