This home is amazing! Gregory and family have put a lot of thought into house amenities and decor. It definitely reflects a labor of love. Only suggestion is the he rethink who he has cleaning for him however we did not let that affect our good time. This home is too amazing. I brought my family here for a weekend and all my grandchildren loved it. I believe they liked the house just as much as Tweetsie Railroad! We were on the deck the first morning we were there and two fighter jets came through the valley almost eye level! Talk about excitement! They were tripping! I know some reviews talk about the drive and Gregory thoroughly explains it in the description to the tee however I think that was apart of the charm! Appeals to the adventurous side of me I suppose! Hands down this place is definitely a must see. Thank you Gregory and family for sharing your home!

10/10 Beautiful, clean, private home in Valle Crusis. Our favorite part was the idyllic views from the back porch! Hosts were extremely communicative. Be aware you have to take your trash to the local recycling center (it's close to the property).

We loved our stay at Granny’s place! It was a cute little house with a bunch of nick nacks inside. The river in front of the house was so fun to play in! The host was super responsive and easy to work with. Thanks so much for letting us stay!

Great communication, clear and concise instructions for check in and check out. Lots of thoughtful amenities provided, even treats for our pups. Kitchen is fully stocked and bathroom products are provided. Great place to get away, but close enough to all the area has to offer.

The condo was extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The decorations and overall feel of the place is great. The pool was nice to go down and enjoy as well. The view is incredible and we spent a good bit of time out on the balcony, just enjoying the beauty and serenity. We have zero complaints and nothing but praise for the condo and hosts. We definitely plan to return! Don't be deterred by the need to use the shuttle to travel back and forth to your car. The drivers were great and the wait for them was just a couple minutes. The entire complex seems laid back, friendly, and very well maintained. Food, groceries, or entertainment is all within a few minutes drive. While our friends were sweating in Bristol at 87 degrees, we were a cool 72 up on the mountain. It is a great place to cool off and recharge in the Summer.

Quiet neighborhood, nice fenced yard for our little dog. Accommodations were quaint and comfortable. Close enough to Banner Elk, Boone and Roan Mountain to be convenient but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. I will definitely stay here again if traveling to the area.

Crystal’s place was perfect for me, my wife, and the kids. We come back to Banner talk in June and if available we will stay here again!

We travel frequently and can say that issues found at other rentals were not issues here! This condo was as listed, felt very comfortable with upscale details, had a fully stocked kitchen (we were able to cook a large dinner with ease), provided started supplies, and allowed us to fully enjoy the serene setting. I definitely recommend this rental for both summer mountain exploration and winter ski access…the slope is a short walk away! We plan to return to the area and will be choosing this rental again and that says a lot because I am pretty darn picky!

Betsey was great! Very responsive and flexible with check in. Place was clean, comfortable, and a gorgeous location!

The BEST AirBnB we have ever stayed at! Jaw dropping views, convenient location, beautifully remodeled, peaceful location that’s easy to access AND dog friendly. Couldn’t ask for more! Walking distance to a wonderful coffee shop and brewery at the base of the resort. The unit had everything a pet owner would need provided and a fully functioning kitchen + accessories to make cooking a breeze. We stayed during the summer but this would be an UNBEATABLE location for skiing. Matt was incredibly communicative and so helpful during our stay - he even provided a locals guide before arrival! My ONLY complaint (and nothing the host can control) is that if you’re staying around June 2025 they are working on the building in front of the unit, so during the weekday there is construction noise starting around 7:30. We will be frequent visitors to this spot and have already recommended it to all of our friends and family!

What to write in such a small space! Kevin and Susie are precious folks. We got in late on our first night and Kevin helped carry our things upstairs. And chatted with us for a bit. Susie had made some AMAZING cookies for us. We loved the space of the apartment. It was clean, cozy and just as the pictures portrayed. The bed was so comfortable!!! We will definitely be staying here again. Roan Mountain is our me favorite place and Kevin and Susie have the best place to enjoy it! Thanks for having us ♥️

We always enjoy staying here! It’s our go-to place on Beech Mountain. Super-comfortable beds. We love sitting on the balcony and watching the deer while we have coffee in the morning. Michelle is a gracious host and an excellent communicator. Thanks again for another great stay!

It was perfect for the number of people needing separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. It was a charming place with all the amenities we needed. I would recommend it as a great place to stay.

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very kind and accommodating host with thoughtful amenities! Easy to check in and out and the cute condo was extremely clean and inviting. We loved the friendly town of Banner Elk and will be coming back!

Whitney was very personable, couldn’t figure out the gate and she took a personal call without hesitation to help. So close to all the great places in town.we will be back.

Kyle was helpful and responsive. The place was very clean and the decorations were beautiful. My friend and I had a girl’s weekend and wanted different rooms (because we like to sleep in opposite temperature) and this fit us perfectly. We each had our own bathroom and the beds were very comfy. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry option too. The directions were easy and Banner Elk is a 5 minute walk. The best part was the 180 degree view! I miss it already and didn’t want to leave! There were deer outside our window both days so that was a bonus. We would stay here again for sure!

This was the perfect space to relax and rewind. The private balcony, cozy fireplace, and view of the mountain made us want to stay forever. Eric was extremely helpful and friendly. He responded asap - couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I can not say enough about this beautiful little gem in the woods! It was so well decorated and all the little thoughtful additions, like a bag of local coffee and heated bed covers were just perfect and exactly what I needed for this get away to reconnect with myself and nature. I barely left the condo, because the view was so spectacular and how cozy the home felt! I was visited by a bunch of different birds on the cute patio where I painted a few of them as I sipped coffee and just listened to the breeze ruffle the leaves or rain shower that softly fell! Definitely hope to return very soon!

This was our third stay at Ronnie's place. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The condo is perfectly decorated and leaves you feeling right at home. Thanks for another great stay!
