We are delighted to welcome you to a former 1854 WINDMILL with its pointed roof! which has traded its wings for a charming room under its magnificent framework, a bathroom and on the ground floor there is a private entrance. The mill has a garden and free parking. In the quiet of the countryside, it's the land of oysters! 700 m away, you will find bars and shops. Located between Saintes and Rochefort. Oléron Island and Royan. The first beaches are a 20-minute drive away.

Quiet house in a perfect location for visiting the area. The nearest town is Matha, it takes 10 minutes to get there by car, you'll find shops, pharmacies, doctors. The accommodation consists of a large living room on the ground floor with a well-equipped kitchen and toilet; upstairs you have 2 large bedrooms with 140 x 190 bed and a large bathroom. A beautiful terrace completes the property. Warning: steep staircase, accommodation not suitable for young children.

It is 1 hour 5 minutes from the Côtes Sauvages Royan – Les Mathes (La Palmyre) to enjoy the large sandy beaches.

The Barn at Bois Blanc

A spectacular 200 year old barn, given a modern conversion. Set in private grounds, down its own track surrounded by Cognac vineyards. Its 'Bauhaus Style' with cinematic view mezzanine bedroom, decking and outdoor furniture and use of swimming pool (normally open for 1st of June but can be earlier, depending on weather.)
