The listing is true to the listing description. Lagrasse is a beautiful village with a river where it's good to swim. In addition, it is close to Carcassonne and the sea. I highly recommend Shona's apartments.

Very good stay. The view is a treat for the eyes. Go up along the house, you'll find a beautiful path and even stones perfect for sitting and meditating. Good bed. Pleasant apartment. On the road to Peyriac (beautiful!). The oven wasn't working. The washing machine seems to have a pb: short cycle requested (11)... 3h30! (reported). Very nice hosts. Thank you for hosting my (old) doggie.

This is one of the loveliest long term stays that I have had ever had. This feels like a true home - all of the amenities and appliances that you could need for cooking at home and having a relaxing evening after a day of travels, including a kettle, coffee maker, microwave, pots and pans, and multiple sets of dishes. Never had any issues the hot water or water pressure. The wi-fi is incredibly fast and reliable, perfect for video calls for work and video streaming. The hosts live nearby and were very flexible and responsive when our train was delayed coming into Carcassonne, and they met us at the door and helped us to settle in. They also were very patient and helpful whenever we had any questions or issues (including those that were caused by our cat!) The location is incredible, very close to tourist sites and a nearby park / walking trail. Carrefour is about 15 mins walking, Lidl is a little further (25 mins walking). We'd love to come again!!

Good communication and clear instructions for easy self check in. Location is perfect for visiting the old village (walkable) and a lot of great restaurants within 10 mins walk. Good to have the parking space directly in front of home.

The accommodation is spacious and well decorated, modern. Perfect for our family visiting Carcassonne

We had a great stay at Pierre’s apartment in Canet-en-Roussillon. The flat was exactly as described—clean, quiet, and ideally located right opposite the beach. Communication was excellent throughout, and having a dedicated parking space was a real bonus. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable week, including a very handy washing machine. Highly recommended!

Excellent welcome from our hosts who offered us an aperitif at checkout. The cottage is modern and very functional with a pleasure garden and a swimming pool that we used every day. Do it again!

We had a great stay at Claire, Thierry and Stella's (their dog). Their kindness, their welcome and the idyllic setting of their home won us over. We'll come back to that, that's for sure!

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

5-night stay in Gilberte's apartment with my mom, her cat and my dog. Very nice accommodation and quiet terrace, the rooms are quiet even overlooking the street. You just have to know that to access the accommodation there is a large steep staircase (not easy for my old dog). The location is ideal for enjoying the village while being close to the beaches or nature. Gilberte is very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!
