A delightful place to stay and an incredibly location, literally steps from the beach. The cabin (#1) was neat as a pin and cozy, yet 3 adults, 1 teen, and 3 small dogs had lots of space. I loved the shared spaces and took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit. The host was great during our stay, and even afterward when we accidentally left a piece of tech behind. Hoping to stay again!

Jennifer’s Place Was the perfect location for a quite and relaxing getaway. The views and property are just what’s needed to get away from the stresses of life. No need to go anywhere else. A great stay and very pet Friendly.

House was as advertised. Very private and peaceful. We liked the hot tub and large kitchen.

Therese and Jim were awesome hosts and their property was amazing. Everything was as expected and our time there was awesome. Highly recommend this for any large group.

Kristen was a wonderful host. She was quick to respond to my messages and the cottage had everything you could want. From the trails, to the hot tub we made sure to enjoy the entire property. Although the weather didn't cooperate we still had so much to do at the cabin. I think we had the indoor fireplace lit almost the entire time! Thank you for a lovely visit! The dogs are still tired from exploring your property lol. they loved the trip as much as we did!

Amazing place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing, but a few minutes away from beautiful Elora. Larry was very helpful, responsive, welcoming and kind. Will definitely be coming back for more stays

We had a great time at the cabin. It is right next to the beach and the sunsets were beautiful. We had to checkout early because our dog got injured at the beach(note the water is still very cold in May). But the trip was a hit otherwise. The place over all was very comfortable and cozy. Jeffery is a very responsive host. He helped fix the issue with the fireplace promptly.

Small cabins with shared fire pit/outdoor area. Cabins are small but well furnished. if the cabins were rented to rowdy guests, it could make for a not so pleasant experience. Quiet. Peaceful. The beach is a few steps. Walkable to the main road. Great location.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spacious home! Our family of 8, ranging in age from 3 to 60, felt completely comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family getaway. The grandkids especially loved the toys and play areas—it made a big difference having a space where they could have fun while the adults relaxed. We had plenty of room to gather, laugh, and create lasting memories as a family. It’s not always easy to find a place that works so well for a group of all ages, but this home exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We stayed for 4 cozy nights, enjoyed spectacular natural beauty, and received warm hospitality from a host who was highly knowledgeable about the area. We learned about flora, fauna, and firebuilding! Elizabeth and her husband were highly attentive, and very friendly. There was also lots and lots of firewood free to use, which was greatly appreciated. We had a great stay, and hope to come back someday!

The only thing better than this stay, were the hosts. Absolutely fantastic experience and we felt very at home. Many trails for our dogs to enjoy and for the human enjoyment, comfy beds, lots of seating, and a fire pit. The property is meticulously kept and a must see. We will definitely be going back!

We had cold rainy weather the whole time and still we enjoyed our stay. I brought lots of wood and we enjoyed the stove and the sauna. All appliances and shower worked well. Great place to sit back and chill.

This cabin rental is beautiful. The river is so peaceful sounding and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy a quick little get away. We stayed as guests for a wedding near by and it accommodated me as a single well in the smaller cabin and my friend and her baby in the larger cabin. This was an excellent find! Scott was communicative and professional and everything was easy.

We stayed at Leah’s place for our marriage photo shoot, the officiation, and a small gathering — and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Leah was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our entire stay. She went above and beyond by providing us with lots of beautiful decor at no extra cost, which made our setup even more special. She was always quick to respond and so supportive. When we accidentally locked our car keys in the trunk, Leah didn’t hesitate to help us out — and thanks to her, we got it sorted in no time. The place itself is lovely, peaceful, and ideal for any special occasion or getaway. I highly recommend staying here. Great space, even better host!

Andrea was an amazing host, meeting us at the road and showing us around. The grounds are beautiful, well kept with plenty of varied seating to enjoy the sun and shade. Inside, the cabin was clean and well stocked. It was newly renovated it seemed and the appliance were new and clean. There is a remote control heating and cooling system so we didn’t have to use the wood stove. There was plenty of firewood to have a nice fire outside. The TV had Netflix, Amazon Prime etc without having to sign into your own account. And the Alexa sound bar cued to music on demand. The wifi was excellent, I had to do a bit of work while there. The shower had a large overhead rain shower and a hand held and the bathroom was very clean. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows and linen smelled fresh. We brought our dog, who has knee & hip issues and the terrain was perfect for her. She easily got in and out of the water. Lots of bunnies to keep her busy! Can’t wait to come back! Thanks Andrea

The cottage was a little tight for 6 adults, but having the super cute bunkie for us two "elders" made it very comfortable. It's also rustic, rather than high end, just as a cottage should be. Appreciated the Brita, but the tap water is very drinkable. Two fridges also appreciated!! The deck and property are large with space for frisbee and ball tossing. I put up my hammock! And the fire pit! More than enough chairs in a comfy shaded part of the yard, plus easy to buy firewood along the highway. It's a quiet, pleasant neighborhood, easy access to the beach as long as you can handle stairs. The beach is a little rocky but some of us wore water shoes. Lake Huron is wonderful no matter what. If you want sand, take a day trip to Grand Bend. Nuria and Sandra were very good at communicating and we have nothing but good things to say. Hope to return next year!!

Anastasia was so helpful and I felt as though she really cared. I extended my stay and she was so supportive and kind. The house is a beautiful heritage home with so much charm. The drive in to the house takes you into a fairy tale. I really felt at peace the 2 days I was there. The host so graciously had all the spices we would need while cooking and an amazing piano and ukulele to make music. The house truly makes you feel like you are one with nature. I will be booking again because 2 days was not enough. It’s a cozy place to enjoy the weekend with your loved ones. I enjoyed seeing ontario through this stay. Thanks A💕

Had a wonderful quick weekend trip with my young family at Skylar’s beautiful cottage! Excellent location minutes from grand bend , beautiful and stylish cottage with comfortable beds and bathroom. I appreciated the access to a highchair, pack&play, and some children’s toys and utensils. A fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze, and a walk down to the beach made for some beautiful memories swimming in Lake Huron. Thanks for being so accommodating, Skylar ! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this bunkie. It was very well done and cosy. It’s in an amazing location right by the water and there’s great wildlife to see. Colin was a top host, showing us around the site on our arrival and accommodating our last minute booking. Thank you again for letting us borrow those paddles, we had an amazing time!

We had a lovely weekend celebrating my husband’s 39th birthday. It checked everything on our boxes: private, in nature, amazing views, sunsets and listening to waves at night. It’s so peaceful, truly a magical charming cottage. Thank you for sharing it with us! Hosts do a great job at describing the cottage, so if you don’t like spiders, or walking up/down 70 steps don’t choose this cottage however for us it didn’t bother us at all. We actually enjoyed it and it added to the wonderful feeling of escaping from the city - into your own private retreat, to unwind and enjoy the simple things in life. Thanks again!

Shelly's place was exactly what we needed for a weekend away! The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived and the wood burning stove kept us toasty for our whole stay. The bed was super comfortable and we loved exploring the surrounding woods with our dogs. It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind in the quiet woods, and yet be near Goderich to explore the multitude of locally owned shops and restaurants. We're looking forward to returning here in the future!

Luz was an amazing host. She was extremely responsive and friendly. Her and her husband greeted us at checkin and even helped us bring our belongings to the cabin. They own a beautiful property with beautiful animals. The cabin is a short walk from her house, making it private, and offered beautiful views. The cabin was so sweet and cozy — it looks exactly like the photos. The host offers firewood, water, colouring books, cards, puzzles and more, as well as cooking utensils! There was everything we needed making our weekend getaway a great one. The views were beautiful this time of year as well. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for having us!

We had an awesome stay. The location was perfect…we were in a golfing weekend and the golf was only 6mins away. We could walk to town, lots of shopping and a beautiful beach. The house was also perfect…cozy, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Susan hoping to come back next spring. Cheers Karen
