This home was completely renovated and updated in 2023 with careful consideration of its original history that dates back to the 1940s. 2 bedrooms totaling 1 King and 2 Queen beds, plus an amazing kitchen, front porch, and onsite parking. Sidewalk the entire walk to downtown which is only a half mile away.

Tucked in a quiet street in Normaltown (one of the most vibrant intown neighborhoods in Athens), our comfortable, private and clean 1BR house has everything you need for a great stay. Our thoughtfully furnished and fully stocked guest house has a complete kitchen, a laundry room with washer and dryer, a spacious living room and dining nook, a full bathroom, and a bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a chest of drawers and a closet with ample space to unpack all your clothes and feel at home!

Welcome to our cozy studio apartment! We offer a private separate-entrance apartment in our newly constructed house, less than a mile walk to downtown Athens and the campus of University of Georgia! Apartment has private entrance, driveway parking, and kitchenette. It is walkable to downtown restaurants, theaters, multiple parks, Normaltown, and UGA's campus. Please note that you will hear noise from our family upstairs, so if looking for peace and quiet, this may not be your best option.

Our home property came with an old horse barn and stables and a feed room; two rooms under one roof. In 2018, we turned the horse barn and stables into The Ivywood Barn. Now we've converted the feed room into The Ivywood Barn Too! Two private rooms, two private entrances under one roof. So, if you're a party of 2, choose either side. If you're a party of 4, choose them both!

Charming private guest suite in a wooded neighborhood only nine minutes from downtown Athens. Located on the first level of a 1950’s single family house, our family lives upstairs. There is a chance you may be able to hear our toddler or baby from upstairs :) If this is not something you’re comfortable with, we may not be your best option for your visit to Athens. However, recent guests haven’t had any issues with noise, check out our reviews!
