Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Astoria, Queens

An absolutely wonderful stay at Jennifer's Airbnb in Queens. Peaceful side street just steps from just about anything one would want or need-restaurants, bakeries, etc. Three blocks from the subway stop which we used everyday to attend both a Mets and Yankees game as well as spend a day in Manhattan. This trip was for our grandson's 10th birthday celebration. He came away with multiple memories which will last a lifetime for him. He even said he loved the Airbnb!

Marshawn was a great host. This property is really well located, we walked to and fro the city field stadium and it was very nice. The house was really clean, I was greatly surprised to have 2 full bathrooms for 2 bedrooms it made everything so easy. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to go to a concert, baseball game or just to visit.

Brandon’s place was nice. The location was good. It was only a few minute walk to the yellow line so was easy to ride it right to time square, Rockefeller Center Central Park 911 Memorial and many others. The is right next to the tracks so you get some train noise. Did not bother us at all. Nice it’s only 10 minutes from LaGuardia, We would rent again

Bodrul and his family offered great hospitality. They respect privacy, iffered great instructions of what to do and are very responsive with request. Highly recommend!

Jian's place is clean, comfortable, and a good value for a short stay. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the apt is a 15 minute bus ride to downtown Flushing, and 5 minutes by uber from LGA. The neighborhood is quiet, and I felt very safe walking late at night. However you will hear the planes taking off from LGA. Check-in is via a keypad and Jian responds quickly to any questions. There was a glitch at the beginning of the stay which Jian resolved quickly. The nearest subway into Manhattan is from downtown Flushing, so traveling into Manhattan can take 90 minutes, or even longer if returning late at night as the buses from Flushing run less frequently. The bed and linens are comfortable and of good quality, the bathroom has a large step-in shower with great water pressure and instant hot water. Flushing is a great destination for authentic Chinese food with more variety and better prices than Chinatown. I definitely recommend Jian's place.

The process to check in was self check in and was clear and easy to do. The place was impeccably clean and very well decorated. The items in the Airbnb were well thought out and useful, (cooking utensils, salt & pepper, coffee, etc). The location was a nice neighborhood. There was a weather issue that occurred and Shekeva was incredibly professional and immediately responsive to the situation and my concerns. I would stay here again!

Michelle is the best hostess. If you need a place to stay and just want a basic arrangement, this is a great place! She goes the extra mile to be helpful. Quiet and comfortable stay.

This place is a gem! As noted in other reviews it is spacious, very clean and quiet. Communication was great and easy check-in. Hugo and Laurie are very accommodating thoughtful hosts who go above and beyond to help guests feel at home. Wonderful Astoria location...close to LGA and within short walking distance to subway and many restaurants/shops. This will now be our go-to spot when we visit NYC!

It’s a pretty rad spot on the edge of the East Village. Perfect for a few nights in the city. Communication is very good, everything went as stated and all codes and check in were smooth. Recommended.

Lourdes was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel at home with her kindness and attentiveness. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Her hospitality truly made the stay special. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Yuliana is very friendly and so attentive, replied to messages very quickly. Her studio space was cozy and exactly as described, she’s thought of nearly everything you may need and provided it in the studio. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe. The transport link into New York, Manhattan really is easy and straightforward and reasonably priced. As it’s a studio space the shower cubicle was a little small for me (but I’m quite tall), otherwise no complaints and I had a very pleasant stay and would deffo recommend her place.

Alicia’s place is a great find. It’s modern and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, walkable and 12 min from the nearest metro station. Let Alicia know if you are sensitive to scents. She was very kind to remove the fragrant plug-ins. And bring an eye mask for sleeping if you are sensitive to light as the bedrooms are bright. We’d stay here again. Thanks Alicia!

Adham & Yossr's place is the perfect place to stay if you are flying into LaGuardia and don't want to rent a car. We were able to walk to Citi Field, Black Sheep Coffee & Amigo's Deli (both on Astoria Blvd - Amigo's has a GREAT chopped cheese hero), as well as catch a bus or walk to the subway station if you're looking to explore Manhattan, Brooklyn, LIC, etc. The apartment was clean, spacious and exactly as listed with clear check in/check out instructions. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood and even though it's by an expressway, you can't hear it. Comfortable bed and the shower was awesome. If we're ever back in Queens, we'll definitely book here again!

Place is very close to two subway stations, a lot of places to eat nearby in vibrant neighborhood. It is well soundproof, so the noise from the trains is at low level. The balconies are nice addition. Communication was easy and on time. We asked for early check in and we were able to get in 2 hours earlier. The property is clean and have well equipped kitchen. Recommended.

Anthony is the best host I’ve ever had! So friendly, welcoming, and super responsive. He has clearly poured ample love and care into the space—it is immaculate, stylish, well-equipped, and truly an easy Williamsburg oasis!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Great apartment in a nice area of Hoboken. We used this as a base for our trip to New York so did not spend much time at the place but the location is great, you are close to the station (10-15 minute walk) which takes you to Manhattan Midtown or the Financial District at World Trade Centre. The area in Hoboken is also very nice, you are nearby the Hoboken waterfront which offers great views of Manhattan and an opportunity to slow down from fast pace of Manhattan. Further you are next to Washington Street, which has lots of restaurants and bars, we particularly enjoyed starting the day with Bagels on the Hudson. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. AJ was always quick to respond for any questions we had. Overall, would recommend.

Great host, amazing location, and quite cute neighborhood incredibly close to the PATH! Hoboken was great and getting into Manhattan was incredibly convenient. The Airbnb was spotless and the couch was already made for my dad. Roomy, homey, and a great stay. Loved this place!! If I ever need an Airbnb in Hoboken I will look to rebook this place

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is just like the photos, and in a lovely neighborhood with grocery, coffee, restaurants, subway, etc. nearby. The bed is super comfortable...amazing water pressure...all located in a quiet building. I would definitely stay here again!
