Really enjoyed our stay, lovely house well worth the money

We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. We enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse of which returning to the pool after a busy day out was a favourite of our teens. nice and clean with all that you need to self cater provided. good bed linen, towels and robes supplied. The village is outside of Caen , there are no amenities within the small village and we decided to eat out during our days out and could easily cook in the evenings with supermarkets within driving distance. A quiet and quaint village in the Normandy Countryside with the main towns and D Day Beaches a easy drive on good roads.

Very nice accommodation, with very charming decoration. The bedding is very good for beautiful peaceful nights. The very friendly host knows the expectations of guests well and does everything to make the stay high quality. Thank you.

Our group of 7 50 something men really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Normandy. Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us around the extensive house and facilities. The house was great with a well equipped kitchen, great covered and heated pool, tennis court and more. We didn't manage to make use of the bikes or canoes that were also at our disposal. Bedrooms were clean with good beds. My only criticisms would be that there was only seating for 5 in the living room, toilets did not have basins, and the directions were not great - a what.3.words location would have been really helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and one of our group plans to return with their family later in the year.

Very nice property for a great stay with family. Very good bedding and very good amenities and nice layout of the house. The pool at 28° was really a plus. This place is really to be recommended and Delphine always very responsive. This place is halfway between the city and the harbor and anything can be done on foot. Finally, nothing to say about our long weekend, than happiness. A big thank you to Delphine.

Fabulous stay! Host was very responsive and the house was great. Easy for exploring the Normandy sites! House was sparkling clean and the beds were super comfy! Highly recommend.

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

Beautiful property with lovely outdoor space. Very comfortable bed and excellent facilities. We visited Arromanches, Bayeux and Omaha beach & cemetry. All the places were fascinating with a great atmosphere due to us being there around the DDay celebrations.

This is a beautiful house in a quiet road. It as everything you could need and is well positioned for the British normandy memorial, and the D-Day beaches

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? We had a great time at Stéphanie's place, close to the sea and the remarkable sites of the landing beaches. The place was very clean, nicely decorated, and functional.

We had an execellent stay here in this quiet village. Mathieu & Camille were friendly hosts. We were visiting the D-Day sites/museums, many of which are within easy reach. Overall, the property is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bedrooms have great double beds and mattresses. The bathroom is of a good standard with a very good shower. The walled garden is private and quiet. When looking on Google Maps the 15 minute walk to the beach appears to have no footpath. However, there is an excellent footpath! For bird watchers or those with an interest during an evening stroll we recorded/saw a Greater Whitethroat, Redstart & Zitting Cisticola! Would recommend a stay here.

We were greeted by Françoise on arrival and shown to parking right outside the house in a quiet neighborhood where the car was safe during the entire stay (2 nights). He helped with my suitcase and showed us the apartment with instructions. We received good recommendations for our plan to visit the D-day beaches and how we should plan the route in the best possible way and what we could disregard. This made the experience even better as we could follow the plan without major detours and confusion in the sea of museums and D-day sights. We also got local recommendations on restaurants, even though the times did not fit with our schedule, I wish we had visited them too. We'll have to do this another time. We had all the equipment we needed and tea/coffee, sugar, salt and jam were available to guests. There was also a nice bakery just up the street. There was also quality furniture and the best Airbnb apartments we have stayed in so far. Outside we could enjoy a cup of coffee and food in a lovely garden (a table + two chairs).

Well-equipped house, clean, terrace and bedroom upstairs with sea view. Ideally located. Barely 3 minutes' walk to the beach and seaside restaurants. We had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Lili’s place. I was visiting from the US with my mom and daughters, ages 1 and 5. Lili was extremely responsive before and during our stay. After a seamless check in via lock box, we entered a beautiful and clean house. It is apparent that Lili put in a lot of thought and care into designing the place, the decor put me right into relaxation mode. She was sweet to supply small gifts for us, and amenities for the children like a crib, high chair, and games. During our stay, we took day trips to Honfleur, Cabourg, and of course Mont Saint-Michel. Each destination was 1-2 hours away, which made the location perfect. Overall, I had a great stay and would 100% stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay, peaceful and rejuvenating, in Sabrina's fully renovated sheepfold, with a splendid view of the Normandy countryside. The location matches the photos perfectly. Although the guest house is nearby, everything is designed to ensure our privacy and autonomy, without overlooking, which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. The outdoor jacuzzi, spacious and already hot when we arrived, was the icing on the cake. The accommodation is impeccably clean, very well equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. Thanks to Sabrina for her warm welcome, we will keep a very nice memory of this getaway... and will come back with great pleasure!
