Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Construction trailer with a view and country charm

The red construction trailer on our old farm on the outskirts of the village offers a great view. Time to come down and enjoy the simple life in nature. Room to switch off and stop. The spacious construction trailer has everything for a good simple life: washbasin, stovetop, fridge. In the double bed 1.40 cm or on the cozy sofa you can relax. Outside: Outdoor hot shower and compost separating toilet. In winter you shower in our separate apartment.

Modern guest house "Seenah" and close to the city

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Unsere „Kleine“ ist Innen eine ganz Große! Unsere Ferienwohnung wurde 2023 von Grund auf saniert. "Bordeaux" lautet das Konzept der Ferienwohnung - luftig und leicht. Sanfte Naturtöne mit dezenten Akzenten in Nuancen von Blau und Dunkelrot sind eine Hommage an die französische Region und vermitteln ein mediterranes Feeling. Bodentiefe Lichtelemente zaubern ein Gefühl von Weite und geben den Blick auf das benachbarte Gradierwerk frei.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The apartment is about 32 m2, is located in a listed half-timbered house and is lovingly restored with natural building materials. The location is central yet quiet. It features a separate street-side entrance with lowered side pavement and also an accessible back exit to a green courtyard garden. The spacious shower (1.20 m2) allows floor-level access. Nearby free parking for spa card holders is possible.
